We’ve tried multiple times to set this up and it never makes a sound. But we’re not positive we’re rigging it correctly… it didn’t come with any instructions. The only instructions are here on the product page.

I couldn’t get this to fire any round.I bought two of these for safety while sleeping in grizzly country hoping it might save my life.One fell apart while setting it up and the other wouldn’t work.

When I tested out the .22 adapter it was clear the adapter was not adjusted. The main unit is center fire and also the .22 adapter

Just dints the blanks a little, that’s it I may have to sharpen the flat strike end, and see if that works, i stretched the spring for more punch still did not fire, putting a point on the fire strike pin is the last resort, if no avail it goes in the trash, totally not impressed with this purchase

Will not work with 22 adapter. Pin hits center of rim fire and will not fire.

I purchased 2 of these devices. I tried them with both .22 blanks (rimfire) and 12-ga shotgun blanks. Neither device was able to trigger the blanks. It seems that the internal spring used isn't strong enough to fire them off. Also, after about 5 attempts one of the devices broke, with the spring popping out. I found all of the parts, and was still unable to re-assemble it properly.
