The product is great, too bad Amazon holds my products for over a week before sending it. I would love to know why if I place an order on any particular item, big or small and on any particular day, they hold it for over a week before sending it.

The vent on our recently acquired sailboat was corroded so badly that we had to add fuel very slowly to prevent back spray. This vent was an easy replacement (seems almost identical to the original), and has the extra splash guard to keep salt water out. And the price was less than half of what local marine stores wanted.

Easy to install but the getting the old one off is most of the work. Takes about 2 minutes to install. Good quality and great price.

This vent was used as a exact replacement for the original vent which lasted more than 15 years before becoming blocked with saltwater oxidation. The old vent could have been cleaned and reused, but decided on replacement instead. The vent has met or surpassed all expectations. The only negative is lack of a screen over the vent, but that is not important if the vent is installed correctly. I recommend this product to those who seek a stylish and functioning vent. In a word, if you need a vent, try this Perko product. Prediction? You will be happy with it.

I'm using this vent for the fuel cell in my YJ tub on my crawler. The gas fumes are only an issue when I have the top on. I like this vent as it has a shield over the vent opening (the black plastic part) and this has kept mud from clogging the vent itself. Not exactly a marine application, but it works great!
