The Perlick is excellent because the value does not glog up and/or stick like most of these do.

We’ve had this tap for a few months now and it’s nice that there is no more “beer glue”. The tap always opens smoothly even after a few days (or weeks) of non-use.We bought two but have only used one so far. Looking forward to installing the other one.One thing to always ensure: make sure the tap handle is completely in the closed position. I’ve seen other reviews referring to dripping or leaking and I can definitely see how that can happen if the tap is still even the tiniest bit open.Always ensure the tap is closed and secure and you will have a clean area with a tap that doesn’t get stuck or drip.Highly recommend.

Had to replace several of the cheapo taps that came with my replacement kegerator towers--they stick. They would get gummed up with dried beer, and had to be soaked to get them loosened up. Never happens with Perlick. Also, I like the fact that the nozzle is tapered, easier to put the rubber caps on them.

I have three stainless steel Perlick faucets that I purchased in 2006. They still function perfectly to this day and I've pushed thousands of gallons of beer through them. I recently added a 4th tap to my kegerator so I can serve a hard seltzer so I picked up this chrome version. It functions well and looks nice but the design is a little different than my 18 year old Perlicks. The faucet on the new one is all one piece meaning that that the nozzle doesn't unscrew so you can't remove it for easy cleaning. I disassembled the new faucet, so I could soak it in some PBW and sanitize it before installation and it was easy to reassemble. Time will tell if this Perlick is of the same quality as my older ones. So far it pours well and its operation is smooth.

Bought two of these back in March to replace my basic faucets that came with my tower since they kept severely sticking.Initially I was very impressed! These were amazing as they never stuck. However, now the front seal won’t do just that... seal. This caused a good deal of wasted alcohol as what was usually a normal drip or two that was left over in the nozzle after pouring turned into a very, very slow drip from each of my two faucets... and yes, I mean slow... a drip or two a minute... and I’ll only drink once every week or so at home, so needless to say, I was quite shocked to walk down to my basement to see a small puddle which occurred on my bar.I’m going to try and replace the O-rings, but after just a couple of months, this shouldn’t have been an issue.

I've been using the standard faucets that came with my dual tower for two years. Man, was the sticky tap a pain in the butt, so I finally pulled the trigger on a Perlick faucet. Swapped one of my original faucets as soon as it arrived and it's been working like a charm. The thing I love is that I don't drink during my busy week and when I go to pour a pint of homebrew on Friday it pours just as easily if beer had just been flowing through it. Literally purchase another Perick faucet the next week because how good it works.

Pros: This faucet pours very evenly It Looks amazing perfect pours every time Fits standard tap handlesCons: NoneThe original faucet in my Danby was causing slow pours and lots of foam. This one poured in 8 seconds with perfect head. I will be ordering more in the future as I add more taps. I also recomend getting a tower cooler
