Once you put it on it's really really hard to get off there's like a little pouch you open it and you wipe down the area to stick it on essentially I would kind of see where you're putting it first before you stick it on because it's kind of hard to like unstick it then it takes three AAA batteries it's very convenient so if the battery dies you don't have to unstick it you could just pop the little top off slide it off and put it and replace the batteries while it's still stuck to the vehicle it has a really really really strong grip by the way really strong and you see how light bright that light is it's amazing The only thing is it's microfiber so it's black and kind of grayish but that's fine it It kind of blends and it's in the corner and make sure you line up the silver slip with the little part that cancels out the light because if you don't when you close your door the light will still be on.
Needing to understand.

This product arrived without instruction to insure correct installation, the company's name is in Japanese!!! I'm so disappointed AMAZON.
