Bought for my grandson, 18 months old. He’s just getting the hang of it now and loves the satisfaction of fitting the pieces in the holes. It is larger than you might expect - perfect for little hands. I made a cloth bag to hold the pieces as it does not come in a box. The great thing about it is that it is also a Mum (i.e. daughter-in-law) pleaser too, as it is wooden and classy and clearly educational. Order well in advance though as the customisation means a slower delivery.

We live many states away and our grandson turned one. We wanted to give him a gift to remind him of us across the miles. This made for a wonderful, old school gift. Many options to choose from. Love the fact, we were able to write a personalized note and have it added on the back. Great quality. If you dont like what you receive, youre stuck with it. I selected girl colors and expected a unified piece. The advertised photo shows generic colors for the elephants, and when you get to the order page they give you an option to select your color. But they don't tell you they aren't matching the elephants to the name, then you get a piece that doesn't match at all. So don't expect to order girl colors and them to give the courtesy of matching the elephants. And they even switched the elephant to green for the little girl. Green is not in the advertised picture. I'm not in love with the colors for the name, they could've added another contrasting pink and it would've been cute. Just overall disappointing and I had to warn anyone who wants to purchase this to get it from somewhere else that is more transparent about what you are getting.
