This has turned out to be pretty reliable. Has a wide viewing range and is sensitive. It provides live feed and also records snippets when it detects motion and stores the little videos for your review. It doesn't use it's own app/software, you use it via an app that services other types of & other people's cameras and devices at the same time. Privacy is good, and so far no glitches in recovering data. I use it to monitor my cat's behavior and it has served that purpose adequately.

I set up this camera mainly to check on my dog when I’m at work, and I have to say, it’s been more useful than I expected. The motion tracking does a good job following movement without constantly sending false alerts, I was worried it might go off every time my dog stretched, but that hasn’t been an issue. The two way audio is a fun bonus. The first time I tried talking through it, my dog tilted his head and looked around, clearly confused about where my voice was coming from. The one key call feature is something I didn’t think I’d use much, but my wife actually pressed it once to get my attention when I left my phone on silent, so that turned out to be pretty handy. The video quality is sharp, and the night vision is better than I expected, I can see my dog clearly even when the lights are off. So far, it’s doing a great job keeping an eye on things when I’m not around.

I installed this indoor camera in my living room to keep an eye on my home, whether I’m inside or away. The setup process was simple, and I had it running within minutes. After mounting it in the best position, I downloaded the free app, which allows me to access live video anytime. The 2K HD monitor provides a sharp, detailed picture, so I can clearly see what’s happening in my home without any distortion or blurry images. Whether I’m checking in during the day or at night, the video quality remains consistent, and I don’t have to strain to see details.The motion detection feature has been particularly useful. Anytime there’s movement, I receive an instant notification on my phone, letting me know that activity has been detected. If needed, I can quickly check the live feed and decide whether further action is necessary. The camera also has an automatic tracking function, which follows any movement in the frame, making it easier to review footage later. In case of unusual activity, I can activate the built-in alarm through the app to deter any unwanted presence.Another aspect I appreciate is the video playback option. The free cloud storage trial allows me to access 30 days of recordings, and after that, I still get access to the past three days of footage within a two-year period. This means I can always go back and review past events without worrying about losing important recordings. The app interface is user-friendly, making it simple to access video history, adjust settings, or watch live footage whenever needed.With this camera in place, I feel more at ease knowing I can always check on my home. It’s reassuring to have an easy way to monitor everything, whether I’m checking for movement, listening for sounds, or simply reviewing past footage. I’m very happy with this purchase.

I had it set up for about two weeks, I like that I can talk to my cat and dog when I am out or at work. It provides clear images and moves well. It allowed me to monitor their eating and toilet usage because I pointed it at their automatic feeders and litter boxes. The sound is slow and one-directional, but fine. The only downside is that the response time from when our dog barks to when the notification comes through on the phones is kinda delayed.
