This product works great but the low is not what I would call low. It's quite hot, I think high heat will cook the dogs.

35 watts on low. Put it on a timer so our cat could stay warm at night. I like this one because of the manual switch. Others have an electronic timer that can fail during a power failure. Well made and easy to clean.

Wish the controller provided more than only two heating levels (low and high). But this is the largest pad I have found and it keeps my critters happy. Long-term yet to be evaluated.

We have little "huts" that we ordered here on amazon for keeping our feral cats warm in the winter. We ordered these heating pads because they have low and high settings on them and they fit perfectly in the huts. When it's cold outside, especially below zero temps, the cats love staying in their homes. They only come out to eat, in the food bowls which we have heated also .We love our feral cats !

This heating pad was perfect in the whelping box to keep the newborn puppies warm and it left enough room for Mom to lay down away from the heat I like that it didn't shut off after a time, as it needed to be on constantly for those early newborn days.

My only complaint, is that where the cord comes out of the heating pad it seems really easy to fall apart, leaving the wires exposed. I should’ve returned it.

Recién comprado y en general cumple aunque las temperaturas en mi ciudad rara vez llegan a cero por lo que si vives en zonas más frías tal vez requieras otro modelo más potente. Solo me decepcionó un poco la advertencia de que "este producto no debe ser usado más de 24 horas seguidas"... o sea ¿se están curando en salud? ¿Qué sucede si se me olvida apagarlo; un incendio? No sé; eso me hizo sentir un tanto ansioso. Como que tengo que apagarlo si salgo de la casa dejando a mi mascota pasando fríos o tener que comprar un temporizador.
