  • 【Double Sided PET+PEI Design】We combine two different patterns on a spring steel plate. The bottom of the prints will leave a unique pattern.one side is smooth carbon fiber PET,the other side is PEI frosted surface. The PET print bed surface is resistant to high temperature 150℃ and the PEI coating is 300℃. Both sides can be printed, and one heating bed can obtain the experience of using two materials.
  • 【Support Various Filaments】There is a protective film on PET. Please peel the film before using. For PET surface we suggest PLA, TPU, PETG. (Suggested temperature for the build plate: PLA: 60-65 ° C/PETG: 70-90 ° C). PEI surface can prints PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, ASA, PVA, PET, PA, PC etc.(The recommend temperature of PEI side is PLA:60-65°C;TPU: 20-40℃; PETG: 70-90℃; ABS: 90-100℃.)
  • 【Strong adhesion and Easy to Remove】The PET PEI spring steel sheet flexible build plate has a good adhesion,no need glue and lac.Without the help of other tools, the model come off 257 x 257mm pei platform easily when the temperature of the heated bed reaches room temperature And the plate will return to flatness.
  • 【How to clean and maintain】It is recommended to perform regular cleaning and maintenance. The surface of carbon fiber PET can be wiped with a wet tissue to remove surface dust and fingerprints, and then dried with a dry tissue. Acetone cannot be used to clean the surface of textured PEI, as it can cause irreversible damage. It can be cleaned with detergent and water. The printing panel is a consumable item, and its appearance and function inevitably age over time, which is a normal phenomenon.
  • 【Compatible 3D Printers】The double-sided smooth PET+ textured PEI print bed suitable for 3D printers with 310x315mm platform size, such as suitable for Creatily k1 max. Please confirm your 3D printer platform size before ordering.

This build plate is great quality and very sturdy. It is easy to pop prints off. Creates a beautiful effect on printed items!

Happy with it overall, maybe a bit thinner and wish the textured side has slightly deeper texture to hide the first layer line a little better. But overall I'm happy.

The textured plate is great as always, never have issues and when I go I just start using glue. The opposite side of this is very interesting. It's not entirely level but ends up printing smooth. It feels like it's literally a crosshatched textile and I've been really careful when removing prints while it's slightly hot but it's durable. The pattern looks cool and isn't overwhelming.

I first discovered this type of build plate not long ago, and I was thrilled. When printing on this build plate, the plastic takes on the fine pattern of the holographic pits, resulting in the pattern perfectly represented in the base layer of the print! Some things to keep in mind about this type of build plate, however: you will not have as good of adhesion as you would with PEI. Large prints almost certainly will curl at the edges. It really is mostly for PLA.Before your first use, I strongly recommend washing this by hand with some Dawn or other mild dish soap to remove any residue from the protective film and manufacturing process. Dry it completely and follow up with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol with a microfiber to get any remaining residue off. Finally, make sure you calibrate your first layer well. If you do everything right, you should have decent adhesion and the bottom of your prints will have a wonderful glass-like surface with a holographic sheen. For fun prints, I can't recommend this enough. It's a great value for a build plate to use with decorative prints.

Update 10/15/2024There are Reddit statements that PETG will rip off the surfaces. I watched Thomas Sanladerer's vids in advance, showing PETG is not an issues. I've since run PETG parts with zero issues. Sticks when hot and the parts remove when cool with a flex of the build plate on both sides. No glue stick - just cleaned with IPA. The filament swatch boxes came out great, with PEO for the box exterior surface, and the PET for the back of the swatches.OriginalI've been printing for 7 years and I've only worked with PEI film and PEI textured plates. These seemed like a fun alternative for my QIDI printer to see if they would leave a low key decorative impression on the smooth top or bottom surfaces of gift boxes and the like. Both sides of the build plate were run with QIDI PLA Rapido silver. The photos show some quick first layer tests that were done on each surface. Since the film thickness over the steel plate is a bit thicker than the textured PEI that I've been running on my Max 3, It was important to lower the bed with respect to the nozzle slightly (reset the Z) to ensure a good first layer. The Z offset with either the PEO or PET was 0.14mm changed by vs my normal textured PEI plate to compensate for the thicker PET / PET plate. This machine uses an inductive probe and is looking for the steel between the layers of PEO and PET. If using a BL touch probe or a nozzle piezo probe, you may or may not need to adjust the Z offset to dial in that perfect first layer. After a wipe with IPA and a paper towel, each surface displayed excellent adhesion to the PLA. When cooled, the parts were easily removed with a quick flex. The PEO leaves a snowflake-like crystal emboss on the surface, which is quite noticeable, but not over the top like some of the holographic plates tend to be.The PET surface, which is treated to look like carbon fiber, leaves a nice, subtle carbon fiber weave look that is a bit less embossed then the PEO crystals, but still looks great. To take greatest advantage of either surface, it is critically important to nail the Z offset and get the first layer perfect. There need to be no gaps between the layer lines, and no over extrusion. You will then end up with a glass smooth surface embossed with a neat pattern. I already have some plans for some boxes to hold filament swatches using this plate. It is worth mentioning, that the plates are quite flat, and were well packaged in a rigid cardboard sleeve. Each surface had an electrostatic plastic film over it, which did a nice job protecting the surfaces. It arrived in perfect condition.I'm honestly surprised at how much I actually like this build plate! It will definitely get used for those special items.

This has quickly become my new favorite build plate due to the pattern/texture left on the first layer.it is more than just looks; it actually does give the bottom layer of the print a unique texture, which it quite pleasant to the touch as well. Both sides of the plate work equally well. The only word of warning for plates like these is that you need to use filaments that have good bed adhesion. Silk filaments or others that don't tend to stick without glue won't work well with these beds, as you cannot put glue down on decorative beds (it will mess up the pattern transfer to the first layer of the print).

This is a very nice double-sided built plate, and I'm thinking about buying a second one for my other K1 Max. Thus far it is fairly easy to clean, and I haven't had any issues with bed adhesion. It will take some time to see how it holds up to printing, so I'll post an update if I run into any issues. It does leave a really cool holographic type design on the print surface, but I am still on the fence as to whether or not that is a reason to purchase these types of build plates. You might need to increase you bed temperature slightly, but it really depends upon what settings you were using, and the types of filament that you are printing with. I will say that it does look really cool. Best of luck!
