My rat was started to get a little depressed and wouldn't be using the other hammocks since his friend passed. I got him this one and immediately, he was bruxing and sprawling out in the thing. He likes the fuzziness as it perhaps reminds him of company that I have yet to replace.Despite these specific circumstances, I report this as the best hammock I've ever purchased; no lie. I've never come across a hammock with such great features - let alone, never did I think I'd find one this nice on Amazon. Seriously! Choose this one 1st over the rest of the products you see on this site or on Etsy and definitely over the ones from chain stores. You and your animal will be so-guaranteed pleased.

I wasn't sure about this when I first got it because of the polyester but it turns out it's the best. I have 3 rats and they always drag their bedding into the hammocks, which is hard to get out before putting it in the wash and therefore end up with lots of bedding all over the washing machine. Because of the material the bedding slides out easily so that it ends up in the garbage and not in the washer. I ended up ordering another one because I love it and so do my rats. They look so cozy in it.

My only complaint is the straps are very short, my shirt tag is longer. My boys absolutely love it though! In the picture is my almost 1yr old boy Arturo and he hasn’t left the hammock since he climbed in, which means he loves it and has claimed it lol. It had 3 different levels for them to crawl into so there is plenty of space for my boys (I have 6). Arturo loves it so for all of that it gets 5 stars

Perfect multilevel snuggle hanging house for my rescued baby opossums! Plenty of room for all Eight of them to relax and be comfy! Not sure how it’ll hold up over time, but seems like a nice heavyweight fabric with nice seems.
