The PetSafe Viva Cat Water Fountain has exceeded my expectations. The bowl is excellent quality, and it’s very easy to use. The whisper-quiet pump adds a calming ambiance with the light and running water, making it perfect for my tiny dog who loves it. Assembly was straightforward, and the packaging was secure. The light turns red when the water is low, ensuring fresh water for my pets.Although it appeared larger in the pictures, its smaller size hasn't been an issue for my numerous cats, who adore it. Its durable stainless-steel bowl and gentle water flow make it a worthwhile investment. Cleaning is easy and it’s dishwasher-safe, making maintenance a breeze. Overall, it's a reliable and attractive water dispenser for pet owners.

I was looking for something thay kept the water flowing because we live in the country and have our own well and the water gets calified a lot. Our dogs absolutely love this. They were a little scared of it at first but I showed them that it was ok. Even on the lowest setting I thought it was still a lot for small dogs. There's little to no noise when its on. If you have a bigger dog id definitely go for the bigger size. I will buy more for my other dogs

This is one of the most affordable pet fountains I've come across, and that being considered, this is a great little fountain for the price. It was pretty easy to put together and start using right away. I was wary about buying a plastic fountain rather than stainless steel because cats tend to get acne from using plastic surfaces, but so far so good! The whole unit being dishwasher safe is a huge plus, because you can ensure that everything truly gets clean. Speaking of cleanliness, the filters also seem more effective than some other carbon filters I've tried, and the larger sponge also helps. In terms of noise, the fountain has been pretty quiet if it has enough water, but like any other fountain gets noisier if it's low. The light indicating the water level is also very helpful! I have some concerns about long term durability because of the plastic, but it feels decently sturdy for now. I'll be sure to update my review if it becomes an issue. All in all, if you need a lightweight, easy to clean, and very affordable fountain for 1 kitty or small dog, this is a good choice!

Very nice water bowl for my two cats..I had a deep, ceramic one that tended to get slimy and suffer from hard water staining which seemed to get worse as it aged. I Like the shallow stainless bowl on this one- so far, easy to clean and I like the flow adjustment on the pump as it was too powerful at first. I found it almost silent during operation, and it is a smaller footprint than my last one. Also the light changes color when the water level gets low, but the pump also gets noticeably louder which I noticed before the light change..all in all happy so far but time will tell how long this holds up.

What drips down the tube where the cord leads even when below the fill line. Causing it not only to run out of water fast but find a floor covered in water

I have tried several water fountains and the noise has always been an issue no matter how much they say it is quiet this is the worst one I have tried.

My cats love this fountain! It's easy to set up, easy to clean, and relatively quiet. I love that the part they actually drink from is metal, which makes it less likely to hold bacteria than a plastic fountain. They're definitely drinking more water than they were before purchasing, which is healthier for them. Definitely give this one a try!

I purchased the all plastic model to serve as a second fountain in my bedroom because I couldn’t find the first model I purchased and liked. This is similar in size, function, etc. Be warned that the blue light is very (very!) intense. At night, the fountain becomes a big, bright, blue cube. It affects my sleep and it’s a gnat trap due to the blue light! There is no way to adjust or turn off light. I’ll move it to another room, but the gnat issue is concerning.

Excellent little water fountain. Bit fiddly to set up but not much of a problem. I really appreciate the red lighting that comes on when the water supply gets too low.UPDATE: Product is leaking so badly now after less than three months it is unusable. :(
