Der Petzl Achter ist super geeignet fürs Abseilen und / oder Notfälle in denen ein Notfallabstieg erforderlich ist, z.B. um Erste Hilfe für einen am Hang gestürzten Kameraden zu leisten und ähnliches.Der Petzl Abseilachter nimmt kaum Platz weg, wiegt kaum etwas und findet somit in jedem noch so voll gepackten Rucksack Raum . Mit einem Doppelseil funktioniert das abseilen problemlos. Natürlich muss man dies ausreichend trainieren, um die entsprechende Sicherheit zu gewährleisten.Beim Abseilen mit Karabinern, Achtern oder am Doppelseil abseilt entsteht oftmals große Hitze und man verbrennt sich leicht, wenn man z.B. die Karabiner berührt. Der Achter von Petzl bietet hier ein Griffstück aus Plastik woran man den Achter anfassen kann, ohne sich zu verbrennen.Von mir gibts eine klare Empfehlung. Der Preis ist auch okay.

Me compre este huit por curiosidad al poner que no se calienta, es una buena compra la verdad, lo e probado en un rapel de 60 metros y cuando lo cojes esta caliente, no quema como es lo normal, pero el agarre que tiene arriba te evita que te quemes, aunque se poga hirviendo con esa pestaña estas a salvo de quemarte

The Petzl Huit is a must have item for rappelling or emergency descents. When attached to your harness via a carabiner it adds little to overall weight. In military or emergency services it's a common practice to use double ropes. Using multiple carabiners to create a descender, I've had the two ropes foul and jam, this has never happened with the Petzl Huit. Braking is easily accomplished as is belaying to go hands free. During a fast rappel, the descender can get quite hot, Petzl included a polymer tab that provides a gripping surface insulated from the descender body.ThePetzl Huit Anti-Brulure Descender is a great addition to your kit. I recommend it.
