Nice toe touch tub drain with built-in hair catcher. Simply unscrew the drain to remove hair that was stopped from going down the drain. Had to re-tighten 1/4 turn after a few days as it leaked but looks great and functions well.

Easy to put in, sturdy and that little basket catches everything. You know it’s full when the water stops draining.

Fits perfectly but had to use 2 rubber washers instead of one for under the tub. I love it very much

I purchased this set to change my bathtub drain. The items worked as advertised, were easy to install, & the bronze color looks great. The toe touch is easy to use and no water leaks out of the tub. I was happy with the price and the ease of installation. I would definitely purchase again.

A reasonable grade of stainless steel as tested with a rare earth magnet (some attraction). The bushed nickel finish appears to good quality. Hope it holds up over time. The finish on the inside is good as well which means you can use it without the stopper attachment.I used a "tub drain remover wrench" to remove the old unit. The combination of the old, hardened plumbers putty and time (25 yrs) made the old drain somewhat difficult to remove. The wrench was essential - trying to use a pair of needle nose pliers would have been impossible! Also the wrench makes a scratch-free install of the new unit plus it requires some degree of turning force to seat the new plumbers putty. The toe-touch stopper unit has a spring and one central brass screw. A trim cap screws on top. The body is plastic. It appears it should hold up to regular use.

Pretty easy for kids to step on and push back in compared to popup type so water will rise in shower. Though it's more durable than those which is why i bought it. Hair strainer works great and my 7 year old daughter knows how to clean it out but it does require unscrewing and clearing. It's too much work for my wife to do. I ended up keeping this as backup and using strainer with popup type again.

I really wish it had fit my tub drain. It says 1 1/2” which is the measurement of the one i’m replacing but, unfortunately, it is more a 1 3/4” size so too large. It’s a shame as it is a quality product.

This is the drain plug I didn't know I needed. Very satisfying click when engaged and the finish is very nice. The hair-catcher is a nice addition and does a good job in helping me realize how much hair I shed, not great for my self esteem, but fabulous for my plumbing! The filter is easy to access, all you have to do is unscrew the plug and scoop out the hair with your finger. If I did have a complaint, it is only that the filter itself is difficult to take out of the drain without finessing or using a tool. Otherwise, no complaints!

This thing is a piece of crap.I have no idea how to clean the hair trap out without unscrewing the top to access it. The problem is that the screw that holds the flange to the stopper is not fixed/locked in. It’s double threaded... screws into the flange and also screws into the stopper. While you unscrew the stopper it’s also screwing further into the flange. So one time while unscrewing the stopper, the screw completely fell through the flange and into the drain. Now the entire piece is useless.I thought Well maybe this was a defective unit, so I exchanged it for another. Nope. Same exact same thing eventually happened.Aside from this, the only way to get the drain to stop when pushed down is to screw it on tighter, but that also makes it impossible to drain the water from a bath. The suction caused by the water pressure keeps the drain down. So you either have to hold it up by hand or unscrew it so far that the stopper is basically hanging on.Total piece of garbage. Don’t waste your time.

The product itself looked decently well built but unfortunately even though it states it fits a 1 1/2" tub drain, it doesn't. The size inclusive of the threads is just above 1 3/4" so if you have an older tub drain like I do that is actually 1 1/2" inclusive of threads, it won't fit/screw into the drain below the tub. Your options are to return this as I did or replace the entire drain assembly above and below the tub. If you have a newer tub where the drain plus screw threads are a heavy 1 3/4" this should work well for you. Finish was nice and reasonably heavy build quality. Not being plastic (all metal construction) was also a plus had I been able to use it.
