My nephew just bought a house with a pool. His mother has a pool guy who charges $225/month (two visits/month) to clean and maintain the pool and pump. This doesn't include the cost of cleaning the filters every 6 months to a year. I just left a house with a pool and did my pool cleaning personally. I gave him my old floor cleaning tool and a bottle of these strips. It took me about 10 minutes to teach him how to clean and test his pool. It took longer to explain what chemicals to add based on the results, but he picked it up and saved thousands per year. I can't believe anyone under the age of 60 actually needs a pool cleaning service.

These 'Pool and Spa' test strips were easy to use and, at least for free Chlorine and pH were pretty accurate. I admit to having 'color defective' vision, but these are fairly easy for even me to read. However, the total hardness scale if a bit tricky while the rest are OK. I really only payed attention to free Chlorine and pH, the two item I track. Using other test strips that I come to rely on, these matched the value of around 3 ppm. I measured the pH using a recently calibrated pH meter, and these test strips approximated my pH value of 8.1. A thing that I like about these test strips is that the scale printed on the plastic bottle is large enough to read easily and the indicator squares on the printed scale line up perfectly with the squares on the test strip which makes reading them much easier. If I buy test strips again, I will definitely consider these - although I am now using a pH meter which is much more accurate and easier to use since it doesn't judgment as to color and/or intensity.

The "Test Strips 7 in 1 Hot Tub & Pool Test Strips 150 Strips Water Test Kits, Water Chemical Testing for Chlorine, Bromine, Hardness, Alkalinity, pH, More" from Mighty Care is a set of 150 test strips that I use with my hot tub. At 6 cents each, these strips are a definite bargain. I compared the results with another set of test strips that were nearly twice the price and they matched perfectly. The pH and Chlorine readings matched my liquid test kit as well. The strips are easy to use and read and I can't recommend them enough. Definite 5 stars!

This is a decent price for 150 test strips. Now if winter would just go away.I'm operating under the assumption that these perform well. Can't really test water chemistry in this cold, as I have a salt-water system. So, I'll circle back in the spring if there are any issues. Five stars.

I am using these test strips to measure the amount of chlorine I am dosing into a retention tank for household drinking water. I like this kit because each strip measures 7 different parameters. The strips are easy to use and you dip in water and then compare the colors with the chart. The chart for each parameter includes a recommended range for hot tubs.The strips measure both free and total chlorine which are both important variables to monitor when adding chlorine to drinking water. The kit comes with 150 strips inside a screw cap plastic container.

I received 7 in 1 strips.They work well and results are in the same range as other strips I use.I am sure these work just as well but just have fewer tests on the strip.These 7 in 1 work great and are good quality strips.

I haven’t used test strips in a while. I’ve always used the liquid drops, but they can be a hassle so I decided to give the strips a try again. I really like how easy it is use these strips and this package tests for so many more chemical balances than I normally test. The PH and Chlorine were right in line with what I measured with my liquid kit. I was recently told that the CYA of my pool was high and I’ve always had to take a water sample to the local pool store for testing. These strips test for CYA which is very handy to keep an eye on. With 150 strips in the bottle, this should keep my going for a while. I like these test strips a lot.

Spot checked against my liquid test kit (tfttestkits), ph, chlorine, ta, Cya and hardness and they were inline at least in this cool non use season, will see during the summer. But i have 2 pools to maintain and in Florida I do full chem check monthly, ph, chlorine, ca weekly or more often and i like these strips for during the week as you get a lot of them. I generally prefer liquid test kits and find results easier to read, but the chems are now really expensive and time consuming, i like to use strips weekly and resort to full liquid test monthly. I found them easy to read as any test strips.
