Bought these to replace the stiff foam pads in my riding pants. Bought another set for my jacket. What a difference. I got these for my Leggings and since i wear them all day at work the thicker pads were awkward and uncomfortable. I honestly forget I'm wearing my protective gear. Bonus, the knee pads protect my knees when I have to check items on the bottom shelf. :) [school librarian]

I bought a couple pairs of riding jeans a couple years ago that came with D3O ghost armor... level 1.I was blown away by how light weight it was but was shocked when I learned they had level 2 stuff as well. Before I pulled the trigger I did some research and independent tests were done in regard to surface area and force dispersion and SAS actually had them beat on force reduction and coverage.... and they were cheaper..... I put elbows and shoulders in my Klim Marrakesh jacket and its just crazy how comfortable this jacket it. I also bought a second set to put in my Knox armored shirt so I can throw the shirt on and whatever hoodie or jacket I want (if I am driving around town at low speed). If I am going on the freeway or going riding in the mountains, I put on my Vanson leather jacket over the Knox shirt. At CE Level 2 this stuff is incredible for how comfortable it is. $50 for added insurance. Here is to hoping I never find out if this stuff works well in a crash.

Works great, does its job, slim and form fitting, but...EXPENSIVE. $90? What? D30 for 1/4 this cost, delivered. This isn't gold. It's effing plastic. Crater the price for more stars.

I used these to replace the cheap foam armor in all the "Amazon" riding gear sold. From the hoodies to the jeans, once I removed the cheap bulky foam and replaced it with these? It made the cheap stuff feel solid and comfy. Now, do these work great in a getoff? I have no idea; hopefully, I will never have to find out. But, bet that I will update the review, if ever.

These CE level 2 Phantom armours are very flexible & more comfortable in my jacket than the foam pads I replaced. It is also reassuring that they are level 2 protection.

They are flexible and seem like they will be comfortable but some of the raised pieces look melted. Tried to find a way to contact the seller thru Amazon without initiating a return but I am not finding any way to do that. I found their website and Iām going to give that a shot.Edit - Got in touch with the seller on their website. Seems the molding process often has the results I listed and are shown in the pics. The product seems solid and usable with these slight defects. Changed by rating from 2 to 4 stars with how quickly customer service responded. Hopefully these pads have a long life and I never have to put them to the test.

I wouldent say its as lite as as the foam ce1 "cheap" stuff and its justs a little stiffer. But man this stuff can take mutiple impacts, its pretty friggin thin and its the most flexible armor ive ever seen. The tri flex lets it bend and fold but each pad also can squish and conform while still absorbing fast impacts.Sometimes it gets floppy in the shoulder pocket while putting jacket on cause its thinner and flexible. Once on, never any issues in pants or jacket.Dainese ce2 back and these everywhere else is my new preference. Ill buy again or maybe try the breathable version (i dont think these would be any hotter really tho)

First the good. This is some amazing technology. The pads are only 9mm thick and highly flexible. Its amazing that they are certified for level 2. As a result they're not big or bulky inside your retro biker jackets or shirts, and moving around you don't even notice that they're there. And the more body warmth they receive, the more pliable they get. I use these in all my jackets and pants with the exception of my knees. (But, I don't ride fast. I just like to cruise.)The not so good. They only surpass CE 2 by 10%. If you really want the best protection available for when you're on the track, you're gonna go for other bulkier and stiffer pads. Being thin, the pads are going to move around a bit if you're clothing is loose and baggy. Which won't help in an accident. But then, motorcycle riders should already know to not wear "loose" protective clothing.

These are a perfect upgrade to CE2 level protection in my riding jeans, very comfortable. they may be a little to flexable in a bike jacket if it is a loose fitting jacket.

Comes with four pieces that can be used as either hip and knee armor in riding pants, or elbow and shoulder armor in a riding jacket. I used them in a pair of riding pants because hip armor tends to not be included in them, and since this is level 2, its an upgrade for often-included level 1 knee pads. Extremely comfortable on and off the bike!

Purchased two sets and use them in several riding jeans. Convenient and effective.
