The Ad showing a Philips 100w mercury vapor bulb is False advertising, bordering on fraud ! I ordered as others have and received a substitute low quality bulb, as others here state it only lasts a few months , if that. Returned for a refund. Search elsewhere for a suitable replacement for the Philips Brand bulb…they’re out there!

Well....I'd like to say that this was a great light bub, but I cant. It puts out a nice light and really illuminated the place well, but it failed after only being in service for about a month. It was used in a dusk-to-dawn application, so it was on every night during that month of use.

This bulb is used for my backyard area. The original bulb was made in the USA and lasted about eight years, this bulb, not made in the USA, lasted less the eight weeks. I did order two more, figuring to change them every eight weeks. I will convert the area light to LED very soon.

I ordered this because a Philips light bulb is specified. I received a cheap looking one that in NOT a Philips. I will try it, but based on other reviews, I will have to find a replacement soon.

Very disappointed, this bulb only lasted a little over two months. The last bulb lasted over 10 years.Buying another from a different supplier that’s a real Phillips not an equal that was not even close to an equal
