This is one of those things that you don’t know how useful it is until you use it. I have this mounted on my home studio ceiling. It allows me to mount lights as high as I can without having to worry about a light stand getting in the shot. I have mounted extension arms to it with grip heads that allow me to get more reach and flexibility from it as it is in a fixed location. When it is mounted correctly, it is very very strong. I attached a grip heads that allow to it and was able to hang from it at 230 lbs. I don’t own any equipment that heavy so my subjects and equipment are safe when using this.

Photographers can never had enough places to mount lights, and this baby pin is a great addition to the studio. Comes with mounting screws too. I like the room of the 6" pin on this one too - makes adjusting a little easier.

Not much to say about this 6" baby pin other than it's welded to a heavy steel plate that makes it super strong and the entire unit has a thick black coat of paint on it. I will never worry about anything connected to this well-built wall plate.

There is not much to say about this solid, all metal, wall plate.I used these to attach objects that I want to hold with my C-stand, rather then for affixing lights on the wall. The 6" pin makes much easier it to lock in a grip head, than the 2" pin I have on my other plates.
