This roll thermal printer is exactly what I needed to print out large data sheets in the middle of the nowhere with no power. Sometimes for my work I have to go out and take readings and observations on geological activity and having the ability to print out data in the field has been a huge saver for me. The printer itself is very robust and rigid, feeling very sturdy in the hand. I have a few printers made by these guys now and each one is made of exceptional quality materials and produces flawless prints. I'm very pleased with the ease of printing using their app, its very easy to set up, and I find I don't even need to connect to the printer, just open the app and they'll pair right away and be ready to print, something I wish I could say about my inkjet printer. The paper is very easy to and cheap to find too, an additional bonus for me. All in all this is a great printer and has made my life so much easier at my day job given the printers numerous benefits. Highly recommended!

Really easy to set up and works perfectly. You can connect it (via Bluetooth) to your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Not every AppStore will have the app required to use it though. For example, my iPad has the app, but my Fire Max 11 doesn’t.This printer prints quickly and fairly clear. You can adjust the thickness of the lettering in the app before you print. No ink required since it’s a thermal printer. The printer itself is small, so it’s very portable. Comes with thermal paper to get you started.So far, it’s been working great. 5/5 stars.

This printer is great for quick prints without needing ink! It’s lightweight and easy to use, making it ideal for travel or small office tasks. The Bluetooth connection is reliable, but make sure to use the right app for the best results. A great tool for printing labels or simple documents on the fly.

The service tech can I get the printer to work... You said it was not my computer it was the printer.. he was going to report to send me another one.. now they're just give me the runaround they want me to videotape going through their troubleshooting.. I did that already with the tech.. we did not video it .. so I want to refund

I didn't know about thermal printing until recently. I have a small etsy store and need to print shipping labels and invoices often enough that buying ink is a usual routine for me. When I heard about thermal printing I was so excited, because printer ink is expensive.This printer is small and portable. It comes with a small cloth travel case. It is easy to set up and the quality is very good. Best of all, it saves a ton of money on ink.The biggest plus here is that this company, Phonemo, is focused on safety and the environment. You can find more info on their website, but basically they take measures to reduce their carbon footprint, and make safe products.People may not realize (I didn't) that thermal paper can be very toxic. It can contain a large amount of endrocrine disruptor chemicals such as BPA. The levels of these toxic chemicals can be incredibly high - way, way higher than a bad water bottle, and when you touch the paper the chemicals can enter your body transdermally. Phomemo creates products that are "BPA-free, which can be used safely by the elderly and children, environmentally friendly and pollution-free, strong adhesion, and waterproof".I feel very good supporting a company that is focused on not only creating a good product, but safety and the environment. Highly recommend this printer and Phomemo papers.

I have often been somewhere with my laptop, away from my home or office, and needing to print out hard copy of something. When I saw this portable printer I thought it would be great if it actually works. And it does.The setup was easy. I had it up and running in about five minutes. I bought a box of letter-size thermal paper to feed and used about five sheets of it before I got the hang of getting it to go in straight and not get stuck or torn along the edge. It takes a steady hand, because it is a tight fit. What's really challenging is hand-feeding the paper seamlessly for a three- or four-page document. It can be frustrating.The print quality is ever so slightly grainy. You won't want to use this printer for important or impressive output, but it's 0good enough for my purposes. It fits in my laptop bag - it's so compact. It's ready when I need it.Does its job well, and at a good price.

Wanting to have a small portable printer that can print 8-1/2” x 11” documents while traveling had me searching for a product that would meet my needs so when I came across this specific Portable Inkless Printer. I ordered it to see how well it would do the job. The user must first download a printer driver from the company website in order to print any documents so I did this and everything worked as documented. I was quickly able to print with the printer connected to my Mac computer using the included cable but although the printer showed up on my list of available bluetooth devices the printer did not print when the cable was disconnected so at least on the printer I received the bluetooth print feature does not work. The print quality is reasonable for printing on thermal paper and the speed is okay. A minor inconvenience is that printed documents are longer than 11 inches so depending on how you use printouts you may have to trim each page. Pages are also rolled up after printing so the user will need to flatten each printed page. Overall the printer works okay when connected to a computer with a cable but it has limitations.

Edit: I received a follow up with the manufacturer. After a few emails, they have been very helpful with solving the issue. The customer service for Phomemo emailed me back with questions regarding the product I received. Make note to check your junk/spam folder for their email because it kept going to that folder. Luckily, I was able to communicate back and forth with them and received a replacement that was brand new in box along with complementary paper for the trouble. The printer works very well. Remember to select the correct paper size for the roll otherwise it does not print.I was excited to receive this printer however when I opened it, it appeared to have been opened before. It was missing a manual. When I went to see the included roll of paper, the paper was already used and opened ( there should have been tape on the roll prior to use). The description did not mention it was open box. I tried to contact the manufacturer and I received an email from retrn@amazon.com. When went to enter my feedback it went to the return or replace site but there was no where to explain the issue. The printer itself is phenomenal. Very easy to use and set up. I was more disappointed with the condition of a supposedly new printer.

Took a little bit to get it going. You have to down load the app to make it work. Black print only. If all you want to do is print then this is a okay unit. Sizing if what you are printing like a label is not easy. Printing of a document is okay.
