Nice little light box I'm using to photograph my painted miniatures. I took about 15 minutes to assemble so I doubt I'll be taking it apart again, just to set up in a few days again. It has adjustable light positions as well as adjustable brightness. It came with a great set of backdrops, more than I needed really, but for the price I found this box to be an outstanding value.

"Whitespace" product photos have been around for a long time, but Apple made them the new trend in recent years. It wasn't always easy to do at home because you need to make the background completely disappear into white light, or solid color with no seams, while simultaneously not blowing out (over lighting) your subject. This light box is the answer. Of course, you could build your own and probably make something larger or better, but you'd spend more and it wouldn't be this easy to set up. I wish I had this when I was doing a ton of selling on eBay in 2009! A friend starting a baking business last year asked if I had a light box, so she could take some initial product shots. Even though I dabble in pro product photography every now and then, I couldn't help her. Now I can, and that means free cookies, and this handy device will be sticking around.

I have wanted a photo light box for so long but I hadn't been able to find one that was not too expensive and well made - until now. This is perfect for taking pictures of knick-knacks that I inherited so that I can post them for sale online. The top opening is wonderful for taking pictures of clothing or other items that do not stand up on their own. The adjustable light is perfect for my purposes. I like one light on top and one on either side and this light has that option. It really eliminates any shadow.Despite being mechanically challenged, I found this box easy to assemble and take apart. It does come with a storage bag to keep everything together. I'm not sure how many times I will want to assemble this but, with nowhere to store it, I'll have to take the time to do so for each use. I haven't tried the optional backgrounds but it is great to know that I have that option.Overall, I am very happy with this photo light box and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight and sturdy box.

Very impressed with this item. We plan to use it as a way to stage objects for painting rather than photography. It comes with a plethora of different background linings, which is helpful - and some of the walls have openings you can use to plug in your own light if you want to create shadow effects (the box comes with three led light strips that create an almost shadow-less setting for your objects).

I got this to help sell some various things on an online autction site. It does a nice job of displaing things clearly in photos and definetly makes more attractive pictures than seeing my table top in the backgound.

This picture box is just one heck of a great tool to have!I buy and sell stuff all the time and so does the wifey. This box makes smaller things SO EASY TO TAKE PICTURES OF! This is literally a game changer and I wish I had this years ago!

I'm very much of a rank amateur when it comes to photography. Sometimes I want to take clean pictures of small things, whether I'm trying to sell them online or just for fun. This modest-sized photo light box works well. Assembly took about 10 minutes (it's pretty intuitive, although I did glance at the instructions from time to time) and I was able to immediately produce a nice, clean, shadowless picture of a random thing sitting on my desk (a mug).You get 12 plastic rods that fit into connectors to form a cube. Once you have your cube formed, you slip the black hood over the cube, then click in the 3 LED lights. Next, you put in the background material, clipping it to the frame. Plug in, turn the dial on the lights and shoot away. You can shoot from the front, or from the top down.A couple of things to note. This seems like a bit of an ad-hoc arrangement of parts, and while they do fit together fine, I probably will find a permanent place in the house where this can live, because I wouldn't want to assemble and disassemble frequently. If you're handy and have the time, you might be able to build a larger, sturdier box for less money. The lights seem adequate, although when you turn the dial past 80% the light doesn't get any brighter. (In other words, from 80% brightness to 100% brightness there is no change in light level). On the positive side, the assembled box is very light; on the negative side, that means it may be less durable over the long term. Bottom line: If you don't need a pro light box, don't need a big one and don't have time to build your own, this is a good option. And the price is reasonable compared to similar items out there, at least at the time of this writing.

If you are a photographer, this is an excellent mid-priced, smaller light-box for your product photography. Three separate mountable light bars and one lamp bracket that allows you to rotate a light. The frame is easy to assemble and made out of metal tubes for extra structural strength. Six different colors for backdrop variability. The power adapter allows you to adjust the brightness of the light from 1% percent to 100%. The compact duffle shaped carrying bag is an added bonus and very convenient with its handles for carrying! I do wish it came with a remote control to trigger the camera, but I’ll have to figure out another way to trigger my camera to take the shots
