For about forty bucks for a piano bench, you really can't go wrong. This one is made of plywood and has a cushioned seat covered in something sort of like black velveteen. The listing says it's "suede," but it's definitely not that.There's ample space under the hinged seat for sheet music and music books, which is a nice feature.It arrived with the hinged seat attached, but required attaching the legs. That was a little tricky near the hinges as there wasn't adequate clearance for the two legs that are on the hinged side. I wound up loosening the screws holding the seat, which gave me enough space to get the legs on, and then I put everything back together.Other than the big white letters announcing the Halostand on the side (which I'll probably sand off and/or paint over), I like this little seat a lot. Recommended.

I didn’t have high expectations for this, but needed a piano bench. This arrived in a small package and was very easy to put together. The bench is surprisingly very stable and doesn’t wobble at all.
