I think this might be the best pill splitter available on Amazon! It’s made of solid aluminum has a replaceable cutting blade and comes with two spare blades. it can only cut one pill at a time, but it holds the pill well and makes a nice clean cut every time. Don’t waste your money on any of the plastic junk available in the chain drugstores. You will be surprised with the quality and weight of this well designed tool.

Hands down the best and most heavy duty pill cutter you can buy rn. Cuts pills evenly as well unlike most other cheap plastic pill cutters. Comes with carrying bag, little brush and tweezers.

I didn’t love the idea of spending $30 on a pill cutter but I’m so glad I did. I was tired of buying pill cutters every other month. I love that I can change the blade and how precise the cuts are. I used to be left with dust with other cutters. The case & added tools are great bonuses!

Not only does it destroy the pill, but before you can shut the top onto pill, one piece pops out and rolls around on the floor.

This cutter seems to work well to cut my Sr. cat's tiny pills in half. Through the years, I have bought 4 different pill cutters & none of them have worked for my needs for my cat. Now she has very tiny pills which require them to be cut in half & I have finally found a pill cutter that can do that without smashing them or shredding them into powder, so I can ensure the proper dosage. I do think that it is a bit expensive, and there are no instructions included--even though there is an extra blade included to change it when it becomes dull... so I only gave it 4 stars.

THE GOOD: This product cuts with ease, the spring that puts pressure holding the pill in place is sturdy, and you simply know that this is a very durable product from the moment you hold it in your hand.THE BAD: Unfortunately, it doesn't quite make to cut things exactly in half. When you cut a pill, it seems to cut just a little left of what would be half. Now, in most cases, the amount it would change your dose by is completely insignificant. HOWEVER, on medications that are low dose to begin with (0-20mg) or with medications like pain meds, you really do need the pill cutter to give you exactly equal doses. Sadly, this just doesn't do that...

This is a strong, precision tool. It cuts pills better than anything I have ever used. The secret is a spring-mounted piece that holds the pill in a precise place as the blade is going thru it.
