Lights arrived and I had an issue with the strips not working. Texted the issue to the company and the owner called . Great guy by the way. Ended up sending replacement ones. Had them in a couple days. Reinstalled and I'm really impressed how bright and the multi color features. I riveted the track on instead of using supplied screws . Highly recommend doing business with Green Blob business

This kit came with everything we needed to install the lights. The plastic mounting strips made it a sinch to install in a straight line without worrying about adhesive strips failing. The remote that comes with the lights is really nice and isn't like the little thin credit card remotes that come with most light kits. There are only 2 things I think could be improved on, and that is, a better instruction manual (mine was almost un readable due to inkjet printer running out of ink) and I would like to see a way to mount the controller inside the console. It says it is waterproof but cant be submerged but I would prefer to keep it where it is completely dry. All in all a very nice product!

There are less expensive options but these are by far the best quality. Easy to install and run.

My wife wanted to add LED light system for our pontoon boat after our neighbors added the exact same system. Lights were installed, worked great and everyone was happy. We returned ot the boat about 3 days later and when I went to start it, my battery was dead. I always make sure everything is turned off before leaving the boat. Jumped the boat, got motor started and then decided to install the inline power switch. After installing the switch, the lights would not come on. I removed the wire from the switch and wired it directly to battery. No lights. I contacted the company and Mark Collier, from Green Blob Outdoors responded and said he would send out new controller for the lights. What great customer service!! BUY THESE LIGHTS!!!

Update Sept 2023) We still love our lights, however, we were stopped by the DNR. They said that the moving red & green lights confuse other boaters as to who has right of way & that we could not use those 2 colors. I have emailed the DNR about this but have had no response.The lights are beautiful. We like to use the one that cycles through the lights. My husband was really pleased with the track and also being able to cut the lights to make them fit. If you want some special lights, these will do the trick.
