I bought these to refoam the woofers of a pair of pioneer speakers that I found at a Value Village store. The instruction said to glue to the front of the cones, but it seemed impracticable. I found it way easier to glue to the back side of the cones. It was fast and easy. After letting the glue cure for 12 hours I glued the edges to the speaker frames. I let them cure 24 hours and played music through the. The woofers played flawlessly. I am happy with the purchase.

My 24yr old Pioneer speakers finally gave up the ghost on the foam for the 12" surrounds. I decided to give a re-foam kit a shot given all the good reviews. This refoam kit was great. It was easy to use and the foams and glue seem to be of good quality. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the instructions that was included (downloaded from Springfield site) was more of a general how to and for my specific case did not match what was shown. My speakers have the foam being bonded to the backside of the cone rather than the front like is shown in the instructions. I tried searching for additional help and FAQ for my case on the site, but couldn't find anything. I admit that I did not call the help number as was stated in the instructions; however, I am confident they would have helped me if I called. The main reason I didn't call was because once I Googled my problem I found 7 or so YouTube videos of people having my same issue. Overall, I was very happy with this product and the finished repair seems better than what I had originally....

The instructions are spot on, the materials easy to work with and my old now fixed speakers sound good as new!
