I thought this would work find for my build since I wasn't trying to rev super high. I verified all my clearances were correct, the piston to wall clearance was slightly more than spec on this build. I used a .20 longer stroke rod and machined the head down for maximum compression and used 100 octane fuel to make sure there wasn't going to be any detonation. The billet flywheel had the timing set at 32 degrees. Guess I should have bought a forged piston for this build. Live and learn!

I took a gamble by reading some of the reviews hoping I would get a flat top. Discripton is wrong! Pictures are correct, for the stock replacement, which is what you will probably get like me. Returning..

Advertised as flat top piston. Although it seems decent quality, The piston I received was a dish top piston.

Very nicely made had thicker than stock piston rings too I beat the heck out of the thing so far n it's great . definitely not a flat top but dish wasn't deep as factory so I guess you could call it a thick ringed semi dish piston ...very happy with it so far

I read a question on here that asks if this was a dish top piston, or flat top piston. The answer was a flat top piston. What I got was not a flat top piston, rather was just a stock low compression dish piston. I thought it was too good to be true, and it was.
