This printer is larger than recent models from Canon and HP, but entirely manageable to lift. and move.The directions included with it are well illustrated and easy to follow, even to the mechnically challenged.After connection to my computer with the enclosed cable and plugging the unit in with the enclosed cord, it was ready to go. NO struggling with printer or computer to get it on line. Printed my documents immediately. It comes with cartridges, I am not sure how long they will last but they appear filled. I have not color printed yet.Yes it is expensive but good equipment is worth the price.

I had a previous Canon printer and needed to replace it.Wanted another and this suited my needs.I just set it up on day two. Simple and easy to use.Bad thing is I am not able to register it as the Canon website doesn't recognize MG3600.

Like many. I read dozens of reviews prior to purchasing this unit. Since it's clear to me that all modern electronics are designed to be disposable and of questionable service life, my priority was to find a unit for less than $200 that was easy to install. This fits that, and performs well. I wouldn't pay anymore, as the extra expenditure won't gain you more years of use. These things are not designed to last, regardless of the price.

My HP had to go …it kept telling me that I had no paper in it when I was staring right at the paper feeder filled with paper….it no longer wanted to get on my wifi….then I saw the Canon with with all these 5 star reviews…I was skeptical but I decided to take a chance….am I glad I did….it was NOT a breeze connecting it but a YouTube video did the trick….then I did the first print job and it was fantastic….I LOVE this printer…it’s the best printer I have ever had bar none. It has one issue easily solved there is no readout that allows,you to see how many copies you are printing on the printer itself….but I use the square with the up arrow in Safari…tap on that (iPad) and it gives you a print option and the amount of copies hit print and you are in business ……I am doing perfect print job in minutes instead of trying to make an awful printer work…it ain’t fancy but it IS awesome…..finally a printer that respects me….I love it…

Works great, easy to set up and will print from my phone. The only thing is I wish it would have came with more ink. Make sure you buy extra because they don’t give you much at all.

I realized rather quickly that this printer was not performing well. I put in for a return and then kept giving it another chance, and then another and then another until I have given up and am finally returning it. I had a Canon printer before this one that was much better though had a design flaw that caused a part to be broken. When I took it in for repair I was told it was not worth it, thus I ordered this one from Amazon. Thankfully Amazon is good about allowing returns. I am sorry though because now I need to find another printer. Any suggestions?
