I bought this to replace the head on a Schwinn pump. It fits perfectly.I originally had a problem with air only coming out of the Presta valve when filling an empty tire, so I contacted Planet Bike. They responded quickly and very helpful. If this happens to you, cover the valve you want to use with your thumb, then quickly do a few small pumps to get it to switch over.

My floor pump came with just the schader side and I needed the presta option too. This part fit perfectly and works great!

Works great! My bike pump stopped working and I knew that the problem was in the head so I ordered this, hoping that it would work. All I had to do was make a straight cut on the rubber hose of the pump (which by the way is a floor pump). Then all I had to do was push this head into the rubber hose. The whole operation took about 30 seconds. I am back to pumping up my bike tires like when my pump was new. My pump cost about $60 and this thing cost about six dollars so it was totally worth it. Highly recommended.

I have a Schwinn bicycle floor pump whose head only fits Schrader valves. One of our bikes has tires with Presta valves and I previously just used the Presta valve adapter that was included with that pump. We somehow lost that adapter and so I thought this dual pump head would be a great solution. This looks almost identical to the original Schwinn pump Schrader head except for the additional Presta valve bit.The problem I had was that the pump hose has to fit over the pump head hose receptacle (a roughly 1" hard plastic bit under the bottom screw cap that looks like an upside down Christmas tree where hose has to be friction fitted over the pointy end). This of course has to be a reasonably tight fit or you'll have air leaks. The diameter of my Schwinn pump hose was apparently smaller than the diameter this pump head expects and the first time I attempted to fit the hose over the hose receptacle, it split the top of the hose (not a problem since it was only about a 1/2" split so I cut that off the hose). I compared the receptacle on this pump head with the original from the Schwinn pump and sure enough, this pump head's receptacle is much thicker. I used a pair of pliars with teeth to essentially file down the thickness of the hose receptacle to the point where my Schwinn's pump hose could fit tightly over the receptacle without splitting. That took about 15 minutes of filing and testing until I got it right. After that, however, it works as expected and I found the release mechanism to be somewhat smoother than the original pump head (releases quickly with minimal air loss). For the very low price, this is certainly worth the money even if you have to do some extra work to get your pump host to fit.

I was skeptical that this pump head would actually work, but it was cheap and I wasn't ready to spend money on a new pump. It works!! Took about 10 seconds to install and I've been filling both presta and schrader tires on all my bikes. Holds the seal well and fills. Not much more to say.

The lever on my bicycle pump broke, and I decided to order a new head instead of trashing the pump. Good decision as it was easy to replace, 1/4 the cost of buying a new pump, and it didn't result in a broken pump ending up in the landfill, when in reality, just the head needed to be replaced. Took about 30 seconds to install!

This probably works with most battery operated inflators out there, just like it does with a manual pump.The trick is to use super glue on the braid of the hose before you cut it. Otherwise the nylon braid will come apart and you will have a problem. Now my Ryobi came with a schrader to presta adapter, but having this head attached, which also clamps on the presta valve, is 10X easier/quicker. Nothing to do with the Planet head, but the Ryobi's pressure gauge lights up and appears to be pretty accurate, which again makes for quick work.
