I have two of these boxes and use them for my jewelry. I had one that I traveled between our homes with. My daughter wanted my big stand up jewel stand when we moved so I bought another tackle box. Holds everything the big jewelry furniture piece did and I keep them in the closet.

I’m an odd bird, I like tackle boxes for my art/craft supplies vs actual craft boxes. They just work better for me. I purchased this tackle box thinking it was the same size (approx) to the one I used to hold my cake decorating stuff. Unfortunately and fortunately it wasn’t. (LOL) I was worried it was going to be too big. Similar to the one size I used for my cake stuff. But I still would have filled it up eventually. To my surprise (I didn’t read the dimensions before I ordered) (whoopsie) it was actually exactly what I needed. I wanted something that would not only keep me organized but also not be cumbersome to travel with to craft shows or on trips. This one works perfectly! I love the Plano brand of products for their functionality but also because they are made here in the USA. (Cat stickers added after purchase by me)

I guess it’s good for what it is intended. It is too small for my needs

I use these to hold electronic components. The 4 trays are configurable to hold resistors, transistors, chips, LEDs etc. The top compartment can hold proto boards, a DVM, and other accessories giving the unit a really useful form factor. Unlike some of the compartmentalized storage trays, the dividers in these fit snugly enough that they prevent the different parts from mixing into other compartments during transport. I have been using them and hauling them around to schools, maker faires and the like for about three years, and they have stood the test of time. I cannot attest to embrittlement issues since mine do not spend any significant time in direct sunlight.

Bought this box for work, to help stop trips back to my vehicle while working on site. It swallows so much kit I am surprised how much I can fit in, well made, very pleased.

I am not a fisherman but I bought this to organize my electrical connectors. The tackle box is very high quality with all of the dividers straight and the fit and finish is above average. The overall size was smaller than I was expecting but I guess I should have read the description better.

Very cool tackle box! Nice and small. I had a Plano box that was roughly twice as big that had broke, I was able to get everything from that box to the new one. Love the compartments within the tackle box! Only problem I had is that it didn't come with a handle. Handles are very helpful on a tackle box, especially when going fishing. There is a handle on the box pictured but there wasn't one on mine when I got it :(

For me, this is a little small for a tackle box, but that's o.k., since that's not what I'm using it for. There are a lot of options "out there" for plastic workshop storage, and, in my experience, most are of poor quality and not worth the money. This item is well made, has four "drawers" for smaller stuff (dividers are included), and a larger compartment on top for something a little larger (such as a Dremel). The drawers can be easily marked on the front to identify what they contain. The hinged front panel folds down for access to the drawers and latches up in place so that the drawers stay secure during movement. A brass plate to label the contents is offered for sale, and it might be a nice idea, but really isn't necessary. You can use a marker or labels that you can print out for yourself. I have specifically made workshop chests with drawers and compartments, but this is perfect for smaller odds and ends. And, since the price is right, I'll be able to order a few more to help unclutter the workshop.

Yep, it be small. But is exactly what I wanted, needed and desired. I have looked at all of the available options. The craft items of the same make in foo foo colors are $25.00 and higher for the same thing. I really didn't want a foo foo color. I really like this rust and ivory/cream color. Very nice. It did take a lot of searching to find out the correct dimensions and the sizes of the containers that are inside. I appreciate that Byron Servies posted pictures with a ruler. It did help me make a decision to finally purchase this item. The advertised OUTSIDE dimensions are:Length: 11"Width: 7.25"Height: 10"The TOP COMPARTMENT (BOTTOM PART OF TRAY) INTERNAL dimensions are:Length: 10.25"Width: 6"Depth: 1 .75"The top compartment is domed and allows for taller objects or stacking of ye old crap.Internal Dimensions:Length: 10.25"Width: 6"Depth: 1.5"So Overall INTERNAL dimension of the top compartment inside will give you 10.25" x 6" x 3.25".The bottom rack section contains the 4 individual Pro Latch 23500 boxes.Their INTERNAL dimensions are:Length: 8.75"Width: 4.25"Depth: 1.125This is a great little tower of organization with a small footprint on your desk or hobby work surface. I checked my handle for any signs of defect as reported by other reviewers. The handle is secure. If it does break, it can be replaced with a wire coat hanger and the highly fashionable coordinating paracord...or good old duct tape.I have a lot of hobbies and my newest interest in beading has a plethora of thingies that I need access to, but don't want in my way. The top compartment is now filled with a mini vice, a mini gram scale , Bead smith mini tools, a regular size set of pliers and two standard size spools of Spiderwire. There are a few small spaces left in the top if I had to squeeze something else in.The four Pro Latch containers can hold much more in findings and files and those other doohickies you bought, but don't know what to do with because you are still saving them for the perfect project...This will keep the dust off of 'em.I am already thinking about another one of these...People, I have looked around and pricewise this is great if you don't need a gargantuan container that requires wheels. Use a tape measure before you purchase this so that you can understand it generally takes up an area about the size of my Toshiba NB505 netbook...only taller. It's an extra tall shoe box, with containers, and latches, and looks better.A great container and excellent price at $14.11 delivered Prime Shipping.Happy customer.
