I am pretty handy, but couldn't get it to cover my shrub (within the 6' X 6' size specification) from the installation instructions - returned it.

I bought this item because the deer in our backyard area ate the leaves off of my new hibiscus bush. It is a baby bush and I really thought it had died, but the leaves started growing back, then the flowers grew back. So to keep the deer away I ordered this product. It is way to big as my bush is a baby and it is for a full sized tree but I wrapped it around my little bush tucking the bottoms under so that the deer couldn't pull it, and it is growing nicely. The deer are still in the yard almost every day, but they can't get to my bush.

These are the best deer deterrent for shrubs out there and I've tried quite a few. I thought they were flimsy when I first put them on my shrubs, but they have lasted through an upstate NY winter - snow, ice, heavy winds - and not a single problem. They do need to be weighted down (we used large rocks/bricks) or tied (to a porch railing) so they don't blow away, but the open weave allowed wind to go through without tearing or blowing away. So glad I finally found these!!

Not the easiest to setup, but have not had any deer eating my rose bushes. And they love my rose bushes. Have tried numerous other solutions, this one appears to work. Have only used for a week or so. As a result, cannot really rate durability. In process of adding long wooden stacks to support net and keep the net off the branches and flowers.

Works well. We have deer resistant “cages” for some newly installed plants. We’ve put these over the entire structure to prevent them leaning over and nipping the plants at the top. We intend to remove the cages in a year or so, once the plants are larger and just use these nets on their own from that point onwards. For the price these are the easiest and cheapest way to quickly protect plants. I recommend when you knot them at the bottom you also tie them to a low branch to prevent them blowing off in high wind.
