This is a great alternative to rolling up your string line than the one they sell in big box stores with the plastic handle and the cardboard center. Only downfall on this product is it lacks a handle. It does have the belt loop so you can attach it that way if you’d like.

I wound 100' of 22 gauge wire onto this spool and soldered a connector, to use with my shortwave radio receivers.

This Plastic Tie Wire Reel is very thick and sturdy. It is heavy duty and made of very thick plastic. It should last a lifetime. The top has engraved which way opens and closes. The handle closes counterclockwise and to reel in extra wire the handle turns clockwise. I put my tie wire I purchased from HD into the reel and it fit perfectly. No more dirty hands or gloves handling the bare tie wire. With this reel it makes it easy to use, keep and store the tie wire.
