I liked the EPDM washers. Valve doesn't leak and operates easily. Handle is the opposite of the way valve handles usually are. Inline with the valve it is shut. At a right angle to the valve it is opened.

AVOID! Sorry but this spigot drips rapidly when the handle is fully closed. Had to return.Looks like I'm not the only one.

easy to install seals great no leaks. I’ve been using it for sometime on my worm bucket and my natural fertilizer, fermentation bucket, and I haven’t had any leaks and no plug ups. Definitely worth the money.
