Although these worked to replace our worn out separates from a 70-year-old set of China, they definitely are not sick as advertised. They come as a blob stuck together, and while it was not difficult to separate them, essentially they were about as effective as sticking a sheet of newspaper between each plate, just more attractive.

They are a little oversized for my dishes. I used the salad size for the dinner plates. Because they are stiff, the dishes don't "nest" as nicely as I like. (see photos in previous reviews). Thus, I don't like the appearance in glass hutch.

Mother has older plates “Spode” collection or something like that idk, she uses these various sizes are awesome for all dish sizes. Very effective and protective of the dish itself. Easy to use and set up with dishes, the thickness and weight are perfect.

I've had these for a couple of months now and they work really well. The felt isn't too thick and just thin enough to use them when stacking bowels.
