I remembered how much my own kids enjoyed this type of two in the early 1990's so I looked for something similar for my grandson. At 14 months old, it is one of his favorite toys! Sometimes we put it on the couch or a chair seat and he stands in front of it, the perfect height for him to manipulate and I can sit comfortably next to them and play too. He also uses it on the floor of course (just not so comfortable for me). It is very engaging and he can easily use it all by himself. He is learning how to open the boxes, as well as how to close them, so he can start all over again. It also has a built in handle so he can carry it around with him. A huge hit!!!!

Just buy it. I gave it to my granddaughter at 9 months and she could close the lids within a couple days and was figuring out the single push button one. It’s a soft close do I didn’t worry about catching her fingers. She found it great and my daughter says she’s still into it. Other friends say their kids played with it till 4! Great present. Simple. No noise. Great

Perfect to teach my little one how to push, pull, twist, and press buttons to get the toy to pop open. Also find the little one turning it upside down to look for the pop ups when they’re closed. 10 month old able to lift and carry across the floor and it holds up well. Highly recommend.

My grandson likes this toy. It does not keep his attention too long, but he does Take this out every time.If there was some kind of spring sound or a bell sound For each one that pops up, Or even the sound of a kazoo, not too loud though, I think he would like it a lot better. This seems to be a good sturdy toy.

Great motor control developing toy for babies and toddlers. No batteries required. Kid can practice pushing buttons, turning a dial, pressing/sliding switches. And then, it can serve as a fun number game ("Open door #3!") It took my daughter until about 15 months to have the strength to do the key turning one, but it was great as a goal to work towards. This is a classic toy that isn't flashy/annoying or overly stimulating... Just engaging enough to be a good challenge.

Got this when my baby was 7months old and my LO would crawl as fast as possible across the room at the sight of the animal faces to bang them back inside. Baby just can’t bear to see the faces popped out which is so funny and cute at the same time to watch using the hand banging skill. Proved a good toy for my baby’s gross motor skills. Shelf rotation for toys keeps my LO interested in this one even at 9months of age.

This is just what I was looking for. My 11 month daughter currently has a fascination with the light switches and we can spend HOURS fidgeting with them. She hasn't mastered them so my arms get tired from holding her, but she won't let us leave a room until she's turned it off. I remembered having one of these things when I was a kid so I figured it could give her some practice and opportunity to strengthen her fine motor skills, because frankly, I really need her to figure out how to turn light switches out a little quicker! This option has five characters and switches compared to others that only had four. The only issue really is the price point. It's a bit expensive and it's not even an open-ended toy, which I'm afraid she'll get bored by quickly. Other than that, all the functions work great and managable by toddlers.

We bought this for our 9 month old daughter, and she loves it! It is one of her favorite toys to play with now. I love the colors, that it is not obnoxious and a sore to look at. The animals are adorable. It is made very well, and is amazing quality which I was quite nervous about because these days nothing is made like they used to make things (to last!). Overall very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it!
