had to trim the ends and miter to fit my plow, five minutes with a miter saw, wood was so beautiful I put a light oak stain and then two coats of polyurethane, beautiful plow

These cultivator handles are made from high quality red oak and are a perfect replacement for the original handles on my old cultivator. I used the old handle to layout the location of the holes that I needed to drill in the new handles to attach the axle, braces, and crossbar.The holes for the axle and crossbar need to be drilled at an angle. Be careful with your measurements! I also had to cut a taper at the bottom of each handle to accommodate the axle. The new handles exceeded my expectations.

Excellent hand made red oak handles for my wheel hoe. Very comfortable grips. Crafted a spindle out of a scrap piece of flat bar and used masking tape to create a hole template for the bolts. Used 4each 2 inch by 1/4 carriage bolts to attach the plow. Excellent handles and a joy to feel in your hands.
