This works very well for thumb draw with horse style bows at 35# draw weight and above. I prefer this style over a traditional thumb ring, since this style will not chew into the back of your thumb during long practice sessions. For horse bows less than 35# a thick leather thumb ring will provide enough protection and have much better feel-feedback from the bowstring. Durability has been very good so far. Caution: secure the ends of this by tucking them in before shooting. you don't want to catch the hanging ends on the bowstring when releasing the arrow.

I favor Mongolian style archery and most thumb rings are too small. This a perfect solution and more comfortable than my ‘gone missing’ brass one,

I use tab or glove traditional but I thought I'd expand a bit and try thumb ring style. This thumb ring looks too be will made. The brass and leather has a good shape and it fits my thumb well. It's much to big for my wife to try it though, so I'd say there's no adjustability for different size thumbs. It'll either fit you or it won't. I'm still adjusting to the style of release but so far, this is a fairly nice make of a thumb ring.
