I definitely agree with the Intermediate level practice although this style has been in use for longer than I can say accurately. Everything is here with the exception of the string nock point that I was unable to find. The recurve bow has good pull with no defects. Just tighten the bow limbs good and tight before stringing as moving the Deerhorn bolt after string is very difficult. The carrying case is good quality. Good buy!

Like a lot of people when I was young I was taught to use a recurve bow and have fond memories of it. I have a compound bow but when I saw this I knew I needed it. Not having touched one in 40 years I thought I had been sent a left handed bow, that's how long it's been, I forgot how to use a really simple tool. After that was straightened out it is super easy to assemble (using a bow stringer took a few minutes to get used to but once I did it's easy). This bow is beautiful and solidly made and it has everything you will need to go right out and start shooting.
