I like this for camping. It's not too heavy but it is heavy duty. It cuts both directions and makes quick work of branches under four inches (haven't tried it on larger) and it's easier to carry than a bucksaw or a folding style saw. It comes with a nice pouch for storage that is heavy duty as well and keeps the saw from scratching or tearing up your other gear.

I got this for my camping kit. Portable and seems pretty straight forward to use, I'm hopeful that it'll cut through decent size branches and logs.

My husband tried this while I was busy with computer work. He says, "It cuts things. It's good for small branches, dead wood, and other wood you would use for firewood or around camp.)I like that it comes in a bag. The handles are not soft, but it's meant to be light and this saves weight.

In testing this saw, I was able to cut through a two inch branch from a pine tree in less than a minute with minimal effort. It packs up very small and is quite light.

Looks to be quality made, however I have yet to use it. I have some limb work that needs to be done. I will update this review after that.

If you’re looking for a little sumpin-sumpin for your favorite outdoorsman this holiday season, this handy little pocket chainsaw is just the thing. It’s two feet long, has orange nylon handles and a carrying case, and will fit in any backpack or camping box with ease. The saw is pretty sharp and cuts through deadwood and small branches with little effort. You’ll have a harder time with live wood, but you shouldn’t be cutting down live trees when you’re out camping or fishing, right? This is a great tool to have when you’re cruising through the woods looking for firewood. And it’s less than $10! Can’t beat that...

I got this pocket chainsaw from Zanoly to take on hikes and camping trips "just in case." I thought it would be a good thing to have.It looks like what is described in the listing. It stores compactly (far more compactly than a folding bowsaw. The blades are sharp and should be easy enough to sharpen. It may work better on dead limbs, but I struggled to cut down a moderate live tree with it. It took a bit to get it started into a cut. I kept having it get pinched, even though the tree was leaning well away from my cut. I reversed directions of cut a few times and eventually got it down. It also may have been easier with 2 people to have the chain straighter. So, this is one of those "it works, but not as well as I expected" things. I could have taken my tree down in 1/10 the time with a bow saw. But, this is nice and small to have out on the trail for emergencies. So, it could come in handy for that.
