This podcast setup works, but it is very beginner-ish. I got it for my son who likes to make beats with Mixcraft and Bandlab and then he and his friends record vocals. Like I said, this works, but the quality is not quite professional. One of the mics is not very good and distorts a lot while the other one is just OK. When we hooked up this equipment with a better, $200 mic, it sounded great. My son was able to figure out how to get it hooked up to his laptop on his own and enjoys using it.

It doesn't work with any of my computers. There's a noise coming from inside the device, it definitely has something wrong with it.

Podcasts have exploded in popularity recently, and you can now find a podcast about almost anything you could possibly want - from historical ghost stories to fine dining horror stories and travel considerations, it's all there. I personally think this is due to the increased loneliness that people are experiencing due to the lack of social cohesion the internet has created, but that's a whole different story.Anyway, I decided I wanted to start a podcast dedicated to the video game, World of Warcraft, talking about the lore, gameplay and relationships WoW helps foster or create. Never having been a caster before, I decided to go with this set so that I could feel more professional than just talking into a webcam and I could invite multiple friends to join me for IRL streams.Now, don't go expecting a fully-featured solution with incredible sound and functionality. This is a entry-level starter kit that gives you everything you need to start your podcasting journey. Everything is metal construction, which makes the set heavy, but durable. The microphones both have their own stands and, while the manual isn't amazing, I was able to figure out the diagrams to help get the whole thing setup. Audacity was able to capture sound from the system without issue and the included buttons for sound FX worked fine, though I wish they were just unlabeled to so I could put my own sound labels there. The shifters and knobs were well enough to enable different audio devices and it just worked with my podcasting software.As I said, it's not perfect, but it's a great jumping-off point for new creators. As I start my journey, I'm looking forward to seeing how much I can extract from this set before I need to move on - hopefully, quite a lot!

This is an ok starter setup if you want to get into streaming or podcasting.We're slowly replacing pieces on this not because they don't work, but instead for an upgrade.The microphone stands are ok but we ultimately went for a flexible arm stand that come in from the side of the desk.Similarly we upgraded the microphone with a much more expensive model with better sound.If you're getting started, then this is a good option to try things out.If you've been doing it for awhile, then you probably already know some higher quality items you can buy individually (for more $).

This is an OK product. The mic sound decent enough, but the issue is the mic stands. Do not connect to both microphones. I believe there’s a piece that is missing or just not fabricated correctly to fit the threads of the microphone stand screw. The directions are not that great and I still am having trouble connecting to OBS studio live along with any other universal streaming/podcast software you would use The MIKE quality is decent for the price range overall I don’t think I would use this product any longer than I had to more like a stepping stone, if anything.
