Power an IP camera, desktop phone, WiFi access point, or other low voltage 802.3af device through a network data cable using this Passive Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector. A Passive PoE injector delivers the same voltage as its power source in passive mode that is “Always On”. This injector provides 48 volts, 15 watts of PoE power for devices labeled ‘802.3af’. Plug the midspan injector into the wall, put Data In one port, and receive Data + Power Out from the other port. This adapter extends 48-volt PoE up to 328 feet away from the source.

I set this up a couple years ago for use with access points in my home. Works great, I've never noticed any interruptions in power or connectivity.

This item worked exactly as I expected.I had 2 of the same item from another manufacturer, both did not work. I was new to this device and after two failures I was in need of expediant tech support. PoE Texas was there with telephone support, not just email. I ordered a power over either net injector and it arrived in one day working right outthe box! box! Thank you PoE Texas!

Main issue with it is theres no way to mount this, not just that it didn't come with a mounting plate, but that it wasn't even designed to have a place to mount it.
