Was hoping the leather would be thicker - sort of looks cheap even though this one was by far the most expensive shoulder strap to buy on here...The length better than I thought/needed.

The leather is strong and seems very durable. It is also soft to the touch and the thick strap doesn't dig into your shoulder when carrying a heavier bag!The hooks are also very strong and the strap is very adjustable in length.It is worth the money in my opinion and seems like it would last a very long time. I can also use it on whatever bag I want as long as it has loops on it that I can hook the strap on to.

It is a little longer than I would have liked. Shortening it further is possible, but the metal clasp pushes the pad to one end when you do. So, I can either have it the length I'd like or I can use the pad. Not both.

Overall quality is good. I was expecting the stitching to be less visible, its a muted golden color and I was expecting a beige tone. It works well doing its main function of a shoulder strap.

I have a really nice leather messenger-style computer case that I've been using for about 9 years for everyday use and at work. However, over the last year, the strap was wearing out and starting to fall apart from so much use and travel. I had been trying to find a strap that matched the case's style and color and was ready to give up and buy a new bag when I found this strap. I figured why not give it a try since it is way cheaper than buying a new quality leather bag. I've been impressed by the quality, comfort, and style of this strap. The color matches my bag better than I thought it would. It is very comfortable to wear on my shoulder when I have the weight of my 16" Macbook Pro and my 12" iPad Pro in the bag. So far it seems to be a quality strap, but I've only had it for a few months now, so time will tell how it holds up.

I absolutely love this shoulder strap. I ordered one from Polare years ago for my messenger bag, but finally had to replace it due to wear and tear. Polare has obviously been hard at work and listening to their customers, because this thing has features I didn't even know I wanted, but I'm so glad it's there.The straps are easily adjustable, but will stay in place once they are set. The shoulder pad is gorgeous, dark brown leather on the outside, with a breathable padded layer on the inside. The hooks on each end are thick, sturdy, and dependable. This is the perfect strap for any messenger, duffel, or shoulder bag.

So many straps that I have for brief cases or duffel bags fall short in one aspect or another. This strap however, checks all the boxes. First off, the leather is so beautiful and such high quality, that the price for this strap is extremely reasonable. Next is the large and sturdy lobster-style clasps. These things not only look great, they work perfectly. Additionally, is the shoulder pad. It has just enough padding to make even heavy bags comfortable, and the material is tacky enough so that it doesn’t slip on my shoulder, yet not so tacky that it sticks to my shoulder and doesn’t allow for some slight adjustments while carrying. Last, is the adjustability. It’s easy to adjust to virtually any length you may desire, and seems to lock in place very well despite how heavy the bag may be.I’m planning on replacing 3-4 of the current straps I have, with these. With the three 3 color options available, they’ll look great with some of my existing bags.
