I have four of these installed on my center console boat. In two years the grills got brittle and began falling apart. They are integrated grills so you need to replace the entire speaker. It’s disappointing because they still sound good. Poly-Planar needs to do better with protection from the elements.

Had the exact same speakers...lasted about 4 years on a center console boat..so I ordered to save the hassle of fitting correctly...boat was covered out 99 % of the time on a lift.... usually only get a couple seasons from Marine speakers so I was content...

They are a paper coned factory speakers. Not for great loud sound! Use JL Audio with an amp too kill it!

Replacement for boat speakers that were blown. Direct replacement. Have a deep bass sound and for the money just what I was looking for.

Decent sound for Marine speakers. My dogs shake water onto to them all the time and there is no issue yet with them.
