Update -- my comments below still stand, however I love these shorts and have now purchased a total of four pair. I'm updating my score to 5 stars despite them being a little picky about handling.I love the fit on these. Perfect for under a wetsuit, not too tight and they also stay up fine despite no tie string. Unfortunately after only a couple of washes mine became very "pilled" in the black section -- lots of little white specks that make it look very old and worn. I can't get rid of that so these are not really useful to me any longer. The manufacturer was quick to respond but basically said they need to hand-washed and hung to dry. That seems like overly demanding care for a bathing suit but I guess that is the price you pay for the fit.

I love these swim shorts.....got them to wear while riding sea doo. Much more comfortable than regular bathing suit.

I purchased these because they lowered the temperature at the local pool to 80 degrees and it is a bit too cool for my liking. These are thinner than the other ones I purchased from a big box store and they fit tighter. I like them but they are still a bit thin for the water temperature at the pool I frequent.I paid full price for these swim shorts and no one invited me to do a review.

I love them. No draw string, Fit seems rightI'm 5'11, 180 athletic build with a tad of padding around the middle and these fit great, nice look, perfect length. Can use these by themselves, or under a wetsuit, or under your board shorts..Also unlike many items I've bought lately the blue is a proper Blue and not a baby blue color. !I'm happy! :)

Wish we knew it had no string to tie. Not great for lap swimming otherwise okay good to just hang out in water
