How To Mount

  1. Choose the most suitable side of your transom platform for mounting the ladder.
  2. When mounting, locate a place where the ladder will not interfere with the turning of the motor or be near the propeller of your craft.
  3. Position the mounting bracket with the ladder in the area to be attached.
  4. Mark the bracket’s eight mounting holes onto the deck surface.
  5. Drill the eight marked holes with a suitable drill bit. NOTE: It is recommended to through-bolt this ladder for a secure installation
  6. Mount the ladder in place by holding bracket up to platform and inserting mounting screws. Secure ladder in place with fasteners (not provided, as installations vary).

No issues. I got what what I expected. Parts well made and finished, necessary hardware present and easy to assemble. Yes, it's a little narrow but I don't see that as an issue. Load rating of 600# seems a little fantastical but strength is clearly adequate for large adults.

my second seadoo jet and used the normal ladder on the prior one but this ladder has the handrails, not just the ladder rung on the prior ladder...I mounted this dead center on the rear platform and had room to lay the ladder flat..does not interfere with the towing ring when flat..takes a little thought, but makes boarding easy for me and my wife....highly recommend this ladder, and it is stainless steel

Get some stainless bolts, and this latter is perfect. Used it all season with no problems.
