Good size vise. Like how it comes with the heavy duty plastic covers for when you need them on the jaws. Opens and closes easy. Good clamp strength and good for doing exhaust pipe cutting. I recommend for a personal garage.

I have a bunch of vises, many very large, high end, and this is a great unit. This is the same exact model that used to be sold as a DeWalt which performed pretty well on the infamous fireball test. I bought it due to the low Black Friday price thinking it would be a shed vice that I didn't care about. But I really like it and put it in my main workshop right alongside a very expensive Wilton, and this gets used just as much if not more. I don't think it's ductile so it'll never be quite the same as the truly higher-end ones, but it's very large very smooth and very well made. It has a buttress threaded main screw which is quite rare and the backlash spring is not in the dynamic jaw but back in the base which is a great design as the pin for it is drilled in the part of the screw where it won't matter as much if it breaks.
