I guess some chalk manufactures make their chalk taller. My chalk brand new measures 21.75mm high by 22.75mm wide by 22.25 mm depth. (measured by digital Caliper) This fits perfectly in the holder. In fact there is a wiggle room around it. Now another reviewer brought up a great point about the set screw digging into the chalk and over time wearing a big hole in the chalk where the set screws sit causing the chalk to loosen over time. What I did was take some plastic sheeting I had and cut it to fit the bottom half of the holder on both sides that the set screws are. 0.7mm thickness. Then slid my chalk in and tightened the set screws. What this did is give a wide flat dense surface area for the set screw to sit against so it will hold the chalk without digging a hole into it. You can use a metal sheet that will fit or some plastic. an old credit card or even that gym card you don't use anymore will work. Just cut to fit so it sits below the rim and doesn't interfere with the closing of the lid.

Does not work with my PAGULAYAN chalk. If I tried forcing it into the chalk holder I would damage my chalk. This chalk is on the more expensive side so I’m definitely not willing to damage it to make it fit. They should probably also give the inside measurements because according to the outside measurements my chalk would have fit but however when I took the inside measurements of the chalk holder it was actually too small for my chalk.

Works great. I use it to hold my chalk in my cue case. Keeps the case clean and the chalk dry and clean. Could have used a plastic baggie but this is cooler.

Just wished it had small screws that are attached or stay with the case instead of having to carry around a separate tool (allen key / L-shaped hex tool). I keep the allen key in my cue case so not really a big deal, but it is very tiny so it could easily be lost.

I really like this chalk holder for the square shape chalks (Master, Navigator etc).Two little set screws hold the cube in place, the top is held on by little magnets, nice!Very nice, high quality product.

I had refused to put chalk in my pool cue case because the chalk always left a lot of residue in the pocket of my case, especially when it breaks apart. I will never be able to remove all the blue color. I don't like to use pocket chalkers either because I don't wear my shirt tucked in so it gets on my clothes. This holder solves my problems. The chalk is completely covered in the case. The lid stays on in the case and in my pocket but is easy to remove when you need it. I use Predator chalk but the included flat screws hold the odd shape very securely. I love it even though it is fairly expensive. I have already bought another one. Don't let the magnetic wording in the description fool you though. It references some very small magnets that are only used to hold the lid on. The whole thing is not magnetic so you can't use it with some of the magnetic pocket clips. My actual pants pocket is more secure anyway. The new Kamui Roku chalk is too big and will not fit in it. The holder was more important to me so I gave away the chalk and continue to use Predator chalk.

Perfectly holds my Kamui chalk keeping a chalk free mess in my bad. I keep my glove and extension and all other gadgets inside the same bag and having this chalk "holder" keeps my glove nice and chalk free. It has two little allen screws on two sides of the cube that can be tightened down to secure the chalk so it doesnt come out once inside, really comes in handy once the chalk starts going down and needs to be pushed up. Magnets hold very well and doesnt pop off when places inside my pockets.
