I used 4 different test strips on several different "kinds" of water. These did well and fell within my tolerances.

This bottle of 125 test strips tests everything I need to check for my hot tub. I compared the results directly to my usual brand today as I am working to correct the pH and both indicated my pH was (still! argh!) too low. This brand includes instructions to wait for 30 seconds before reading, which is longer than I am used to so please pay attention to that as you use these.

These test strips are a bargain...I got 4 times as many test strips at 2/3 the cost of the brand name strips I have been buying. And the old strips only tested for 5 things. These strips test for 7 things: Ph, Total Alkalinity, Hardness, Cyanuric Acid, Total Chlorine, Free Chlorine, and Bromine. Many Test Strips don't include Bromine, but I use Bromine in my spa because I think it doesn't affect my skin as much as Chlorine does. Testing with both strips was identical for Bromine and Hardness and Total Alkalinity. So, I trust that these strips are accut=rate. Easy to use: dip for 2 seconds, compare to color swatches on container or included sheet at 30 seconds.

LabBestest work better than the brand we were using for our hot tub. They are easy to read quickly, and the colors are brighter. My husband is in charge of the hot tub, so I asked him to test it. He was pleased with the results. I compared a test strip to our old brand using non-filtered tap water. Both require a 30 second wait period. Results were similar, but the LabBestest strips have brighter colors, and the colors didn't fade as quickly.

I was unsure about some strips I had - thinking my levels were off. Wanted some fresh test strips. Well, these match exactly what my other strips show, so they are good to go.I have an inflatable hot tub sanitized with bromine. These strips allow me to keep an eye on that bromine level, along with hardness, alkalinity and pH. It also shows chlorine, free chlorine, and a few others that are not for my system.Comes with an additional color matching scale (which mimics the scale on the bottle).

I needed another set of test strips for the upcoming pool season. My pool is closed so I just tested these with our well water. The biggest difference between these and my old name brand strips is how bright the indicator is. These are VERY bright. That is great because it is sometimes difficult on a sunny day. They are freshly manufactured on 1/7/2025 and expire after two years.I cannot test the accuracy against a chemical test right now. It seemed accurate from what I know of my well water profile. If they are way off I will definitely update my review to reflect that.Assuming they are accurate this is a nice set of test strips.

I received a free sample of these LabBestest pool test strips to allow me to provide a review. Right now, it's early March and too early to open the pool, but prior to adding Spring chemicals I conducted an early test. Since the pool water has not been fully prepared for the summer season, the chlorine level was too low to test. However, i was able to test for pH, total alkalinity, hardness and cyanuric acid. (After the pool is open and stable, I'll update this review with additional test results.)To compare relative accuracy, I used the same sample of pool water and 3 test methods to conduct comparison tests:One test using these test strips. One test using my tried and trusted Chlorox test strips. One test using a Lamotte ColorQ Multi-Test Photometer Kit.Test Results:pH level: ColorQ test indicated a pH level of 7.4. Both test strip kits showed colors indicating similar pH levels.Total alkalinity: ColorQ test indicated a level of 80 ppm. Both test kit colors indicated similar levels.Calcium hardness: ColorQ test indicated a level of 50 ppm. Both test kit colors indicated similar levels.Cyanuric acid (chlorine stabilizer): ColorQ does not provide this test. The Chlorox test strip indicated a cyanuric acid level of approximately 50 ppm, which is fairly accurate. However, the LabBestest strips indicated that there was little or no cyanuric acid available in the pool.Bottom line:The LabBestest pool test strips provided accurate test results for pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness--the most important tests. However, in my tests the LabBestest did not provide an accurate test result for the relatively less important cyanuric acid test--thus the reason for 4 stars.I'm planning to update these test results after our pool is fully open and stable for the summer season.

Something seemed off with the strips I've had for a while. Levels were off the charts. Sure enough, they went bad apparently. These strips confirmed along with my digital tester. These strips are extremely accurate and match my other testers results. Can't ask for anything more than that.Generous amount of test strips for the cost.Definitely recommend and I'll be sticking with this brand going forward.Great value!
