It works decently but seems to be about 1 degree off compared to using a digital kitchen thermometer. It's not a deal breaker considering it's pretty inexpensive.

So far so good. Easy to read, seems to be accurate temperature reading. Floats well, durable, reasonably priced. Definitely recommend this pool temperature gauge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Accurate, floats, does what it needs to do. Note that the top does come off if you do not want to float. Just what I was looking for.

I checked my pool temp with a digital thermometer after this piece of trash gave me a reading that couldn’t have been correct. It was 12 degrees off!!! This thing is super cheap so I wasn’t surprised and I tried to return it…they’re not allowing a return for it. Spend another few dollars and GET SOMETHING ELSE.On a positive note, it floats perfectly…
