An aerator is an attachment that screws into the side of your pool that sprays a fountain of water being back into your pool. Oxygen is then introduced to the small droplets of water that are sprayed through the air and when it lands into the pool, it helps bring the pool temperature down a few degrees.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO ORDERING
- This fountain is equipped with 1"-1.5" female threads to fit most eyeball sizes. Intex and Cornelius pools with other threads sizes may not fit.. Please measure your return port to confirm correct size before ordering. To prevent leaking, be sure to tighten the connecting parts securely.
- The simple, Do-It-Yourself (DIY) instructions are made to have your fountain assembled within 15 minutes (assembly ease & time may vary based on your type of pool fittings.) Simply turn off your pool pump, unscrew & remove return eye fitting (ring, eyeball, outside male thread), attach fountain, turn pump back on, and adjust the water flow & direction to your liking. The adjustable pvc pieces allow for the fountain to rotate underwater as desired.
No power cords needed

This spray bar is easy to install, and keeps the water in our pool pleasantly cool during the hottest summer days in Texas. The waterfall sound it provides is an added benefit.

The glue won't hold up I had to use pvc weld on it but once you do that works good

Purchased this fountain to add an inexpensive water feature to my in-ground pool. My goal was to reduce the time I was circulating my pool water through my spa and over the spillway. I liked the sound created by the spillway, however due to the hard SoCal water, I would get calcification buildup on the spa wall and tile below the spillway.With the purchase of this product, I was able to quickly connect to one of my pool return jets/outlets and create a nice fountain shooting higher than my spillway and creating the soothing sound of the water falling. Great product and simple to install! I did have to make a slight modification to get the fountain to connect to my return jet. This wasn't due to the product, but rather my pool return jets do not have threaded/adjustable ports. A quick trip to hardware store for a PVC connector and the problem was solved.

When it works it great fun for the Kiddies. The spray is uniform.But it is not completely thought though when it comes to construction or installation.1st. The unit comes straight out from the side of the pool wall. Just asking to be broken off immediately by swimmers or when cleaning the pool. (For above-ground pools a 1-1/2" PVC female st. ell installed on the return water inlet keeps the sprayer parallel to the pool wall)2nd. The material is light-weight but satisfactory for its purpose. But will not take any abuse whatsoever.3rd. The collar to adjust spray volume works well but the plastic nut that keeps the collar secured also maintains the orientation of the spray arm riser. Movement of the riser easily loosens the nut which must be regularly hand tightened to maintain flow and riser orientation.That proprietary plastic collar nut is the weak link of the entire product. Easily (and has) broken at the ball joint.So would I buy it again. Maybe, if I cannot find superior product/manufacturer.

Easily attaches to 1 1/2 in port. Simple to put together and install in pool. Depending on how much psi your pump puts out determines height of spray. There is also a cover on the unit that can control water flow. Well made. I like these for when kids come over and like the spray. Has ability to adjust angle of spray etc. Simple and effective. I would recommend.

the first one I recieved was cracked beyond use. Amazon replaced in a timely manner. Install was easy and quick. The first incident was it blew apart causing water to be pumped out of pool. I re-assembled and it worked fine for a day. The next day I went out to check, and when pump started the adjustable recycle opening had closed off causing the water to shoot over the opposing wall of pool. This caused me to loose suction again due to lose of water level. I found the "happy" spot on the recycle fitting and installed a stainless screw to hold in place. By now I've lost any confidence that this thing would hold up so I took it off. I have a 1 1/2 hp motor on my pool, and maybe this gadget is not designed for that much pressure. Anyway, I won't use it again because I'm scared to leave the house with it in service. If I wouldn't have been there to catch the first 2 fails I could, and probably, would have burned up my pump.

I bought one of these a few years ago from our local pool store, not this brand but similar. It lasted 4-5 years until the “up-pipe” got brittle & broke so I ordered this one. It was easy to put together & install but isn’t the same quality as the first one I had. There’s no threads to connect the upright pipe & elbow at the top (the pieces just push together) so that when you turn the pool pump on, the elbow & fountain piece go flying skyward! If you have the stuff plumbers use when they join pvc pipes together or some strong wide tape, that works well to hold it together. Otherwise, the fountain has been working as it should. When the time comes to replace this one, I’ll go back to the pool store for a better made one.
