I love the finished product, but the pattern, in my opinion is way over priced. You basically get instructions for completing the item and a paper print of the pattern that you have to transfer to plastic template material (which is not included and has to be purchased separately) and cut out. The fold and stitch items are rather expensive to make by the time you buy the pattern and everything needed to make them. I will say though, that I think the finished product is very pretty and the instructions are detailed and pretty easy to follow.

Although I haven't done this pattern yet, I have done others by the same designer. They are well written and easy to do.

I took the advice of reading through the direction snd using paper to create a sample. This helped clarify how the fabric crests the shape. It is lovely and I like how it is different from other table runners and table toppers I have made in the past that were hexagon or rectangular in shape.

This is a quick centerpiece. It is easy to make and is a fairly small size. The multi colors on the leaves make a very interesting look. There is enough room in the center circle to put a vase of flowers, or a large candle.
