The sugar keeper-container is a practical and well-designed storage solution for keeping brown sugar fresh and soft. The clear jar is spacious enough to hold a standard bag of brown sugar. The airtight seal, which effectively prevents moisture and air from entering, preserves the quality of the sugar. The pop-up button is convenient, making it easy to access the contents with minimal effort. The brown sugar saver – a reusable terra cotta disk – can be soaked in water to maintain the softness of the sugar for months. However, after I've emptied the contents of the jar, I've started using it as a loose-leaf tea container instead. After scouring the internet for other ways to use the sugar keeper, I've learned that it can also be used to keep contents dry by baking the disk instead of soaking it in water.Overall, this sugar keeper-container is a reliable and user-friendly option for anyone who frequently uses brown sugar and wants to avoid the hassle of hardened clumps. It combines functionality with thoughtful design, making it a valuable addition to any kitchen.

A whole bag of brown sugar fit in it perfectly and it even came with a little absorption disc to prevent hardening. It also fit between the narrow shelves of my pantry. I love it.

Going with 5 stars for now…the lid fits and is easy to lock in place. The seal looks good. It includes a small terra cotta disc and measuring spoon. This is a good size, definitely would fit a box of brown sugar. I am going to be using it for monk fruit, that gets clumpy and I’ve tried leaving in the bag or mason jar. Thought this seemed like it might work. The plastic is very clear, should wash easily. The spoon is a good size, will be using to measure the sweetener for coffee. This should be pretty handy and will be using it every day. I’ll update how it holds up. The bee is really cute.

This thing is waaaaay smaller than 1.3Q. The scale of the pictures is about right but it's much smaller than you think it is. Other than that, it seems to be a pretty decent item.

Love this little container! It will hold a 2 pound bag of brown sugar, maybe more if you pack it, but that's all I had on hand to test with. The airtight seal works well, and the container can hold other things you want to keep fresh besides brown sugar. (The terracotta disk can also be used in other ways - see my note below.) I soaked the clay disk in water, patted it dry as instructed, and dropped it in. Sugar's still soft several days later, so the container and disk are working as expected so far.The included plastic half tablespoon scoop will honestly be useless for me, I think. I've never seen any recipe call for a half tablespoon of anything, plus I have a set of metal measuring spoons with a half tablespoon that I've never had to use. When I need to get brown sugar out of the container I'll just use one of my measuring cups or a large spoon. If you have need for a half tablespoon measure, you can use this one for spices or anything dry - inexplicably there are 2 tiny holes at the bottom of the scoop, so you can't repurpose it for anything liquid. (See photo)NOTE - You may see some of the sugar under the disk turn white - this is OK! The disk will sometimes absorb some of the molasses from the brown sugar. You can scrape it off or just stir it in and use it. If you've never used a sugar saver disk, do a search on the internet for info - they work! There's a great post on The Kitchn website that has good information about how to use these disks for other things like cookies, dried fruit, muffins and other things - describes how it works, what you can expect, etc.. Google using keywords "kitchn brown sugar terracotta disk" to find it.

A few things here. I actually like the container and the way it pops to seal and unseal. I didn't use the tablet that came with it as I'm using this as a daily sugar container. You need to know this is small. Surprised me because it looks bigger in the picture. I opened a 5-pound bag of sugar and poured it in the container. It took maybe half the bag. But that was fine in my case because it takes up less space.A little thought here. I planned on using it for cereal or something, but the small size made me reconsider.Sometimes a smaller size is best. It may not be for you so that's why I'm sort of stressing the point.Personally, I think it's pricy considering the size. But that's just me. I wanted to give this 3 1/2 stars because of the price and size but didn't want to drop down to 3 stars so chose 4. All in all, I do like it. I hope I didn't confuse you. :-)After using this for a couple weeks, I needed to add to my review. I have been using this for sugar, and this is the nicest sugar container I've ever used. It sits on the shelf and doesn't take up much space and the pop cover is very nice. You know you're not going to accidently spill any sugar. I use the little scooper they include. Solid 4-star product and maybe even 4 1/2 stars.
