Fast response on first reading, appears accurate based on the other ammonia detector we use in the barn. Like this one more as it is rechargeable so dont have to worry about swapping out dead AA batteries every few months.

The NH3 detector has a very fast response. The operation is easy to use. The LCD display screen of this ammonia detector is much clearer than that of the detector I purchased before. I bought this ammonia detector for my husband who works on the farm, and it has proven to be extremely useful. It can accurately measure the ammonia gas level in the farm. The detector is highly sensitive and responds immediately to even the slightest change in ammonia concentration. The accessories are very complete. It comes with a convenient carrying case, a back clip, a power supply, a USB-C cable and an instruction manual. My husband said it's very easy to operate. Even a novice can get started quickly. The alarm function is excellent. It has a loud sound, vibration and flashing lights. This ensures that we can be alerted in a timely manner even in a noisy farm environment.
