Works well for my use. I ordered this product to be used for our scout troop. We have court of honors every 3 months. We meet at a church that has an oven with a stove top, but it doesn't actually work.We used to order food, like chicken fingers, and pay around $300 and then have parents bring sides, drinks, and desserts. With the current cost increase of everything, we are trying to be more budget friendly. Which means cooking more of the food.I used this with a pot to make Spanish rice for our taco night. We had 2 pressure cookers for rice and used this burner for an additional pot. It worked well for that and I didn't have any issues. Cook time or cooking speed was about the same as using an electric stove. This was definitely easy to clean, a lot easier than my stove top at home.I did not use the timer feature, I prefer setting a timer on my phone.I can see where this will be useful while cooking during the holidays and there just aren't enough burners.Overall happy with this cooktop and it will serve our needs well.

Came well packaged. As others have said it is a bit peculiar about what size and type of pan you use on it. Luckily, I have every size and shape. Works well, perfect for when I have large gatherings and need an extra burner. Be sure to read what size the burner is. This is not for larger pans, think saute pan and not frying pan.

This portable stove top works well. It's sleek and functional. It seems to be made of good quality material that is durable. I would not recommend for RV-ers and those living off the grid as it does pull a great amount of power but it does work well. It's easy to clean and gets hot immediately.

This hot plate does a good job cooking food and quickly boils water. I managed to boil a quart of water in a 10 inch stainless steel pan in a little under 5 minutes at its maximum setting. There are some limitations to the types of pots you can use. Since it uses induction, reaction to magnetism is important. The pot has to be iron, flat bottomed, and the bottom diameter need to be between about 4.7-8.7 inches. If you're not sure what your pot is made out of, stick a magnet to the bottom. If it sticks, you're probably good to go.The controls of this hotplate are fairly intuitive. The leftmost button is the child lock, next to that is the timer, after that is the down button(used for both temperature and time adjustment), jump to the other side and you have the up button, mode change(using this button does mean you have to readjust the temperature back to your previous setting), and finally the power button all the way at the right.I have found many newer cooking products seem to have an extremely short cord. While the cord isn't extremely long, it is a good length for selecting where you want it to go on the counter. There is ample cooling underneath. Overheating has not been an issue even for longer use. I did a 14 hour bone broth on it and it turned out well.I don't have anything to criticize on this appliance. The hot plate looks good in my kitchen. It does it's job and does it well.
